"Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" Soobin asks, holding your hand across the table, as his thumb gently circles your knuckle.

You couldn't help but let out a cheesy smile, you've been waiting for what feels like forever for this moment, "Of course I will."

Soobin held your hand as the two of you walked through the park, enjoying one of your many "adventures." The sun was setting, casting a warm, golden glow over everything. You couldn't help but smile, feeling more content than you had in a long time.

"This place never gets old," Soobin said, squeezing your hand gently.

You nodded, "I love it here with you, Soob."

You never really were a city girl, but with Soobin it all felt like home, as long as he was with you.

As you rounded a corner, you spotted Jaemin sitting on a bench. It wasn't often he was out without managers, but you knew him well enough to know his presence from miles away. The sight of him made your heart race with a mix of emotions. He looked up and met your gaze, his expression unreadable. Soobin noticed the tension in your body and followed your gaze.

"Do you want to talk to him?" Soobin asked softly, his voice full of understanding.

You took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah, I think I need to."

Soobin gave your hand a reassuring squeeze. "I'll be right here."

You approached Jaemin, feeling a lump form in your throat. "Jaemin, can we talk?"

He nodded, standing up. "Sure, let's talk."

The two of you walked a short distance away from Soobin, finding a quieter spot in the park. The silence between you was heavy, but you knew this conversation was necessary.

"Jaemin, I need to clear the air," you began. "I didn't know my feelings were still there, and honestly, they came rushing back to me so fast. I just want to apologize for ending things so... abruptly."

He sighed, looking down at his feet. "I agree. I was hurt, and I said and did things I shouldn't have."

You took a deep breath, gathering your thoughts. "I was hurt too, but I think we both knew it wasn't working. We weren't right for each other, and that's okay. I've moved on, and I hope you can too."

Jaemin looked up, his eyes filled with a mix of regret and acceptance. "You're right. I didn't handle it well, and I'm sorry for how I acted."

"I forgive you, Jaemin," you said softly. "I hope you find happiness, truly."

After your conversation with Jaemin, you returned to Soobin. He wrapped his arms around you, offering silent comfort. "How did it go?" He asked gently.

You smiled up at him. "It went well. I feel like I can finally move forward, but there's also something I need to tell you."

Soobin looked at you concerned, he wasn't sure what it was but he raced himself ro whatever it is you had to tell him.

"I received an email offering me an amazing opportunity for school. It is everything I've dreamed of, but it would mean spending some time away from you." You tell him, sadly.

You shared the news with him, your heart heavy with the decision ahead.

Soobin smiled, though you could see the hint of sadness in his eyes. "That's amazing, Y/n. I'm so proud of you. We'll make it work, no matter what."

On your last evening before you were set to leave, Soobin took you to your favorite spot in the park. The gazebo was decorated with fairy lights and flowers, creating a magical atmosphere.

"Soobin, this is beautiful," you said, tears welling up in your eyes.

He took your hands in his, looking deeply into your eyes. "Y/n, I love you. No matter where you go or what you do, I'll always support you. This isn't goodbye; it's just the beginning of our journey together."

You smiled through your tears, feeling overwhelmed with love and gratitude. "I love you too, Soobin. And I promise, we'll make it work."
