"We should stop this! I've had enough of you!"
"No! Charlotte! Let me explain!"
"No more explanations, Kent. I've seen enough."
So I left him, dumbfounded of my sudden and scandalous appearance.
I caught him, making out with some girl in a park. People have been telling me about Kent doing some defrauding against me. At first, I don't believe in them, since I was so in love with him; so in love that I almost did everything he wished.
But not anymore. I've seen it with my own eyes. And I feel so dumb for believing in a thought that he would stay loyal and faithful to me.
I'm Charlotte Dalton. I'm just a random girl from New York. I wasn't born rich but my parents can provide enough for our family's needs (I'm the only child by the way). This is why I'm doing my best in studies so that someday, I'll be able to give something in return to my hardworking parents. I just turned 17 last October 15 and now, I'm about to embark in a new ride; college. I'll be studying in Harvard University, taking the Business Management course.
Kent Horan is my first love, now my ex-boyfriend. I met him in our interschool journalism convention. I got stunned in his physique, a tall hunk with mestizo skin and chinky eyes. He's intelligent, he's the top student in their class. He's also the president of their school's student supreme government. Yup. He's really someone to admire. My feelings grew when we became bestfriends. Everytime I finished my homeworks, I immediately open my laptop to chat with him. Then I fell in love with him. One night, he asked if I have a boyfriend and I said I've never been into relationships yet. He courted me and because of my love for him, I said yes.
It was one hell'a relationship. We always quarrel about stuffs. He's bossy and rude. My friends told me to break up with him, but I didn't listen because I love him very much. I even make his homeworks for him. Yeah I know. I'm so under.
My trust was really strong and real, but not until tonight. Seeing him flirting with other girls really shattered me. My friends were right, he'll only hurt me in the end. Geez. If only I listened to them.
I'm so through with him. I left him at the park, with my tears flowing like a stream. I just can't believe he did this to me.
Hush now, Charlotte. He's not worthy of your love. Time for you to start anew. Live on.
God, help me get over him. I love him very much.
