They were soon in Yeonjun's house, since he lived alone he would always lock the front door whenever he entered, not giving Beomgyu a proper welcome or your of his house he made his way upstairs towards his room.
Beomgyu followed behind Yeonjun, quietly observing his surroundings. He let out an amused huff when he saw Yeonjun completely ignore him and run off to his room. Without a word he followed him up the stairs and down the hall before standing by the doorframe to his room.
He looked around the room, noticing the simple yet elegant decoration. He made his way over to Yeonjun's bed and took a seat, keeping his eyes on the boy currently grabbing some supplies for their project and sitting down on the floor in front of him.Beomgyu leaned forward slightly and rested one elbow on his knee, his chin in his palm as he continued to look at Yeonjun. He let out a soft, low hum before speaking with a teasing tone. "Soooo what kind of project are we doing, Yeonjuuuun~?"
"It's just a simple making a house project. It's not for school my little cousins wanted me to make them one for some reason.." He spoke in a surprisingly soft tone as he concentrated on picking up some popsicle sticks and messing around with them on a piece of cardboard in front of him.Beomgyu couldn't help but find it amusing, seeing Yeonjun being all soft and sweet while working on a project for his younger cousins. A small smile was on his lips. "Well, well, well. Who knew the narcissistic pretty boy had a soft spot for little children."
"I hate kids, just not my cousins.."Beomgyu chuckled quietly at his response. "Right, of course. You, hating children. But when it comes to your dear cousins... you just can't help but adore them, can you?" He said, a teasing hint in his voice.
"Yeah is there a problem with that?" He glared at him before grabbing a hot glue gun and applying the glue on the sticks before stacking some together."Oh, absolutely not. But I think it's adorable to see you getting so invested in this little project." He responded with a smirk, watching intently as Yeonjun continued to work. "You must be really close with your cousins if you spend this much time and effort putting together something for them."
"Yeah, their really sweet and fun to hangout with if you'd get the chance to meet and interact with them".Beomgyu hummed in acknowledgement, a small amused smile on his lips. He couldn't help but be amused by Yeonjun's caring side, it didn't match up with his narcissistic attitude at all. But, he supposed that was only for the public eye. Yeonjun would never allow anyone to find out that he's actually this soft.
Beomgyu leaned back against the bed, his arms crossed as he watched the other male continue working on the project. He couldn't help but let a teasing smirk spread on his lips as he decided to speak up. "You're pretty cute, you know that? Especially like this, all soft and sweet. If only the other students could see you now."
"They've seen me like this..." Yeonjun whispered to himself as he felt his heart grow lonely from the past memories, memories Beomgyu wouldn't understand.Beomgyu raised an eyebrow slightly at his whisper, sensing that there was something more behind his words. But, he didn't push it. He knew that everyone had their own pasts and secrets, including Yeonjun. But even so, he couldn't help but be a little bit curious about the story behind those whispered words.
"Weren't you gonna help me?" Yeonjun raised a brow as he scoffed before picking up more popsicle sticks and glued them together.
Beomgyu blinked for a moment, quickly snapping out of his thoughts by Yeonjun's voice. He let out a soft chuckle and leaned forwards, getting off the bed and coming to kneel down beside him. "Tch, if you're gonna act like a brat then maybe I won't help." He teased, grabbing a few popsicle sticks as well.
"I wasn't acting like a brat!"
