Maggie, Blake, and Ryder got out of Blake's truck and rushed inside the house. They had searched for Nessa all over the hotel and resort and they had found nothing. There had been no trace of her.
"What the fuck happened," Lucas was out of his mind. He had to exert all of his self-control not to pounce on Blake and Ryder and beat them to death with his bare hands. Maggie was lucky she was a woman, but he wanted to wring her neck just the same.
"She needed time alone," Maggie said. She wanted to explain but Lucas didn't want to hear it. He began screaming and cursing at them.
"What the fuck were you doing letting her go on her own? What the fuck do I pay you for? This is your fault, your fucking fault she's gone."
Ryder took a few steps towards Lucas. He glared at the man standing before him. "If you want to play the blame game then take a good look in the mirror pal, you were the one caught with another woman. Don't you fucking lay your blame on us, man the fuck up and be the man Nessa deserves."
Lucas's fist flew at Ryder's face and punched him in the jaw knocking him down. "I know it's my fucking fault God damn it. Don't you think I know that? Nothing happened with Reagan, nothing."
"Well, your woman thinks different, and you have to find her and make it right," Lilian said, standing at the bottom of the stairs. She walked to Ryder and helped him up. She caressed his jaw and laid a small kiss on his cheek.
"What the hell was that?" Lucas looked at his mother then at Ryder.
"Don't you dare judge me Lucas, don't you dare. I've been through enough shit in my life, and I deserve a good man by my side even if he is twelve years younger than me... now is not the time."
Ryder grinned at Lilian and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "When you were gone on your business trip, Laney came, and Nessa got so upset we had to sedate her." Ryder began to explain to Lucas who stood there wondering why he was telling him what he already knew.
"When she was sleeping, I had Rob implant a tracker on her ankle," Lilian confessed.
"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?" Lucas pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed Rob's number.
"I did it in case of an emergency not for you to track her every move," Lilian scolded her son.
She took Ryder through the kitchen doors to tend to his bruised jaw.
"Yoh, mind telling me what the hell Nessa is doing in Montana?" Rob asked before Lucas got a word out.
"Montana? Where exactly?"
"Deep in the mountains. I already sent you the coordinates to your phone."
Lucas cut the call and ran to his office. Maggie and Blake were right behind him.
Lucas opened the safe behind a section of the wall-to-wall bookcase. He pulled out guns for himself and the guard. He was going to get his woman if it was the last thing he did. The trip would take them about four days by car, so Lucas used his plane and made it to Montana in hours. He had the coordinates where Nessa was being held. He just hoped he got to her before whoever had her, hurt her. He was going mad thinking of all the things that she could be going through. The moment they landed a car sat waiting for them. Maggie and Blake got in back with two other men that worked for Lucas. Lucas got behind the wheel and Ryder rode shotgun.
His phone rang, and he answered it through the Bluetooth device linked to the car. "What is it Rob?"
"I redirected the satellite and pinpointed her location. I'm reading ten body heat signatures. Three in the cabin where I assume Nessa is being held and the rest are patrolling outside."
