Before we begin with this AU, allow me to say that this AU was inspired by Handplates: a Undertale AU, as well as Plaything made by ArmageddonC104, though; that's just primarily the father-son thing that inspired me. Both are pretty much trauma fics lol.
And while this AU is related to murder drones, it's going to be around chapter 3-4 that you'll actually see any worker drones.
"But wait!" You may be saying. "If this is a murder drones au, and there aren't worker drones/murder drones, then is it really a murder drones au?"
This AU will take the perspectives of the humans. More specifically, two individuals. Jack and Michael. Later on, you will see more worker drones and more fucked up antics between them. They have their own story to be told, and more than likely, it isn't a happy one.
But who knows?

Age: 16
Born: 3034
Sex: Male
Description: Michael is a child born into poverty, living with his parents [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. According to previous records, Michael generally didn't have the best of grades, and generally doesn't have good eyesight. As a result, he eventually fell out of high school, not being able to keep up to expectations.
His attention was always on something else, whether that be on a butterfly outside, something across the room, it didn't matter. It's suspected that they may have autism, but at this time, it is unclear.
After his parents fell into a plane crash off the coast of Australia, his life became flipped over as he only had one relative that he could realistically stay with.

Born: 3000
Sex: Male
Description: Not much is known about this man, but according to previous police records, he has been in multiple bar fights, charged for assault and grand theft auto. He was divorced in 3032 and has since been out of jail on parole.
As of right now, Jack has full custody over Michael ______ despite multiple warnings of potential child abuse. Recent observations show no sign of physical or emotional abuse, however. His previous job was in construction work before eventually being removed from the job, in favor of more resilient worker drones.
He used to attend protests, advocating for more Human jobs that can sustain his family, however he eventually gave up after getting sued by his Ex-wife, presumably for more alimony payments, however the true cause is still unknown. Since then, he fell into a depression that is silently destroying his mental state.

General Info before we begin:
I wanted to make a AU that was truly my own, and not just some rip-off disassembly drone bullshit OC. Don't get me wrong, they're really cool and all, but it all just more or less feels generic. It's why things that actually have their own story and not just directly ripped off from the main series actually interests me. It has their own story to tell and won't just directly playthings off the real show. While also being PART of the show.
It's why in my X reader book I primarily try to stray away from the main series and focus on their own little story.
I'm just saying this so I can set up expectations that I'm not just immediately going to kick it off straight from episode 5.
For the record, I'm still going to be working on bloody nose, that's my main priority. But as of right now, if you have any questions; ask away. Since I won't likely be working on this for a while, but it's always going to be in the back of my head.
I'm not going to make a cover art for this book, just because it's funny lmao. Maybe I'll make one later, but idk.
