Falling for the new girl

Chapter 1

Riker's pov

It was just like another ordinary day in high school same old classes and same people until I saw this beautiful girl with blue eyes and long brown hair. I could not keep my eyes of her she was so gorgeous.From this moment on I knew I had to get to know her.

Aurora's pov

It was my first day at my new high school I didn't really want to go since my parents shipped me half way across the country just because my dads job had a better offer for him here in California. I was really scared because I would have nobody. I would have to make new friends but I didn't want new friends I was perfectly fine with my old friends. All of that changed when I walked into my new class room and saw a handsome guy with blonde brown hair and hazel eyes I fell in love instantly. I knew I was going to have to get to know him.

Riker's pov
It turned out that the new girl was in most of my classes this morning. I tried going to say high a few times but I couldn't bring up the courage too.

It was now lunch and I walked into the cafeteria and saw her sitting there by herself.

I wanted to go sit with her but I was too scared so I went and sat with my friends. I sat moving my food around with my fork. I couldn't stop starring and I think my friends started to notice.

"Why don't you just go sit with her" my friend Derek chuckled.

"Do you see how beautiful she is?! I can't go talk to a girl like that" I replied.

They wouldn't stop bugging me about it, so I ended up just going.

I sat there beside her and she looked at me curiously.

"Hi, I'm Riker" I said with a nervous smile.

"I'm Aurora" she smiled back.

We sat and talked for a few minutes before the bell rang. I then walked her to her class, then walked to mine. All I could think about was how much I wanted to get to know her better.
