I stood in the grand villa, surrounded by the opulence of luxury decorations and the aroma of exquisite cuisine.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with the excitement and joy of Yuhan and Nimrat's engagement celebration.

As I gazed around, I couldn't help but feel a sense of bitterness.

I had to admit, I was a bit surprised when Yuhan had announced their engagement just 15 days ago.

It seemed like just yesterday we were all hanging out, laughing and joking, and now they were taking this huge step in their lives.

But as I looked at them, I knew it was meant to be. They were perfect for each other, and I couldn't wait to see them start their new life together.

As the guests began to arrive, the villa was filled with the sound of laughter and chatter. I mingled with the guests, making sure everyone had enough to eat and drink, and that the music was just right.

But my mind kept wandering back to yuhan, who was standing across the room, looking handsome in his formal attire. I couldn't help but notice the way he seemed to be observing the celebration, a quiet intensity in his eyes.

I wondered what was going on in his mind, whether he was thinking about his own journey, his own path to discovery.

I took a deep breath and made my way downstairs, trying to shake off the emotional turmoil that was brewing inside me. The grand villa was buzzing with excitement, the sound of laughter and music filling the air.

I pasted a smile on my face, determined to put on a good show for Yuhan and Nimrat's special day.

As I mingled with the guests, I couldn't help but feel a sense of discomfort. My heart was still throbbing, my throat constricted with emotions I didn't know how to process. But I pushed on, making small talk and congratulating the happy couple.

Just as I was starting to feel like I was getting into the swing of things, a guy approached me.

He was tall, dark, and handsome, with a charming smile that seemed to light up the room.

"Hey, you're Meher, right?" he asked, his eyes locked on mine. "I'm Rohan. I've heard so much about you."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite myself. "Oh? What have you heard?"

Rohan chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Let's just say you're quite the mystery woman. I'm determined to uncover all your secrets."

I laughed, despite the pang of discomfort that shot through me. "I'm not that interesting, trust me."

Rohan leaned in, his voice low and flirtatious. "I think you're selling yourself short, Meher. You're beautiful, intelligent, and captivating. I'd love to get to know you better."

I felt a flutter in my chest, a spark of attraction that I couldn't ignore. But as I looked into Rohan's eyes, I knew I wasn't ready for this. My heart was still raw, still hurting from the emotional turmoil of the past few weeks.
