("They planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners")
[8:30]

-

We often have our whole life planned ahead of us. We, people thrive to live up to our planned dreams and lost ourselves in the fraudilty of this Dunya that if something went wrong or out of our planned life, we get depressed, we felt lost and anxious about it. Our trust on our Lord, the Tawakkul which we never tried to build shatters in front our own eyes. Leads us to a blind cave where there is not end, no light, no hope.

In this chaotic life, we often forget to take breathe, we are working so hard day and night to earn this Dunya, which is just an inn, a journey to our ultimate home, the Hereafter, the Jannah which we are not working on. And in this process we somehow lost the connection with our Almighty. We don't talk to our Allah, why? Because we don't have time for that, we don't have time for the one who's the ruler of time and space and us, We skip prayers so that we can attend one more lecture in university, we don't recite Quran, because we are preparing for our exams. The examination which is not going to benefit us in our realm, the one where we belongs to.

Imagine how humiliated we will be on the day of judgement when our Lord will question us for every single thing we are doing right now. Allah mentioned in Quran, "The Day they come forth nothing concerning them will be concealed from Allah. To whom belongs [all] sovereignty this Day? To Allah, the One, the Irresistible!" [40:16]. Wallahi, we should be scared of that day, as it is already promised to us.

We strive temporary cure for our heart's ailments rather than working on permanent cure, which only belongs to Allah.

"Tumhe maloom hai Ayeshe tum bahot bolti ho." Baharay chirped from inside the bathroom. She was sitting on the floor with sponge and mop in both of her hands rubbing the dirt off of the bathtub. (You know what Ayeshe you talk a lot.)

The environment of a Sunday house cleaning is a bustling hub of activity! The whole apartment is filled with the sweet scent of cleaning products and the sound of Quran recitation, which is going on TV in the living room.

Both sisters were indulged, each tackling their assigned tasks with determination and purpose, Baharay to clean bathrooms and mop floors. Ayeshe to do laundry, cook and clean and sweeping off dirt from furnitures. Laughter and chatter fill the air as they work together, making the task a fun and enjoyable experience.

"Kam bolo Baharay, abhi tumhe do bathrooms aur saaf karne hain." Ayeshe replied while switching on the vaccum cleaner, the humming sounds vibrated through whole house. (Speak less, Baharay, you have to clean two more bathrooms.)

The sun shines brightly through the windows, casting a warm glow on the dust particles dancing in the air. The air is fresh and clean, with a hint of disinfectant and a dash of freshness.

The sound of vacuum cleaners humming, mops swishing, and brooms sweeping creates a symphony of cleaning sounds. The rustling of trash bags and the clinking of cleaning tools add to the melodic chaos.

"Anne ka call aaya tha who tumse baat karna chahti hain." Baharay said while hopping the bed besides Ayeshe, covering herself with duvet. (Anne had called she wants to talk to you)

Ayeshe just nodded, her eyes strained on the laptop which was on her lap, while her hands were busy typing something on it, a frameless specs on her eyes, giving her a sophisticated look.

"Kuch bolo toh sahi." Baharay nagged her when she ignored her little sister's earlier sentence. (Say something.)

Ayeshe sighs while placing laptop besides her.
The cozy bedroom of hers is like a serene and intimate sanctuary, a warm and inviting space, filled with soft, feminine touches and personal treasures.
