Chapter 1

This is the story of Crimson Rain and his Crimson Rain Sought Flower, this is also the story of how he died. However, you needn't worry, he will return. For even death can't keep him from reuniting with his Flower, his Dianaxia, his gege, his Xie Lian.

Let me paint the picture...

It was a joyous day in the kingdom of Xianle, the crown prince, Xie Lian, had just been born! Everyone in the kingdom was celebrating, there were nobles, musicians, dancers, merchants, common folk, everyone in the kingdom had a joyous air about them.

However, just a month and 5 days prior, there was another child that was brought into the world. No one knows his name, there is no celebration, no joy taken from his birth, it just happened. This child does, however, adopt a name that will shake the heavens and earth, and strike fear into those that just so much as describe him, Hua Cheng.

Let me pose you a question, my dear lecteur, are you aware of exactly why I am recounting these two births? Well, if you don't, let me explain.

There is a legend, a myth, that if two individuals were fated to be. There is a red string, invisible to the naked eye, that connects to individuals.

These two individuals, one a prince, one a commoner, are in fact, believe it or not, destined to be together.

They will face many, many trials and challenges that will try, and sometimes succeed, in separating them. But no matter how impossible it seems to be together and live their lives peacefully, they will forever have that red string of fate guiding them back into each other's embrace.
