It was autumns first day back at uwork after her miscarriage she didn't want to go in but I she had to, she was sleeping peacefully for the first time since it happened when her alarm blared out and woke her up. She sighed and got up to start getting ready, winter was already awake even though he was on the late shift. Autumn went downstairs and was met with her love he handed her a coffee and gave her a kiss on the cheek "have a good sleep my love?" He asked her "best I've had for weeks my sweet!" She replied, she took a sip from her coffee when she realised that she really needed to get to work. She turned to winter gave him a kiss and said goodbye and left locking the door behind her.
she headed towards her car that was parked in the driveway, she got in the car and let out a sigh she was not ready to go back to the place filled with children when she had just lost one of her own. She started driving and in no time she had arrived at the nursery and again let out a sigh before getting out her car and walking towards the nursery but before she could open the door she composed herself ready for all the questions and looks from all the parents and staff, she was still stood by the door when she was met with someone walking behind her as they reached where she was she flinched and moved to the side not realising it was Marjorie.
"Are you ready to go in yet aut?" Marj asked aut, she wasn't ready but she had to go in at some point. She turned back to marj and said "no but I have to" they both stood looking at each other when Marjorie reached down and held autumns hand, she flinched "do you want me to let go?" Marj said to aut, "no, let's go in together." Aut said as she slightly smiled. Marjorie put the code into the door and opened it. They both walked in together, as they walked towards the office they stoped at reception to say hello to Agatha. "Hello Agatha." Aut said as she tried to keep herself calm. " hello autumn, how have you been? And be honest I know what it's like to loose a child, it's not just like loosing anything it's a whole life you had planned, so if you ever need someone to talk to I'm always here, and for winter as well he lost the same future." Agatha asked "I'm alright and thank you I'll let winter know." She responded. Then Marj and Agatha just exchanged smiles then headed towards the office, they both sat at their opposite desks.
