A dark red flame ignited within the forge. A hammer clashed against red-hot metal, shaping it into a rifle barrel. Shortly after, it was cooled in water and attached to the receiver. The end of the barrel was then fitted with a compensator.

Electromagnetic accelerators were added to the weapon's elongated barrel as NTP tested the bolt-action mechanism, ensuring he had built it correctly. He had. The weapon loaded the blank successfully.

"Now for the shooting test," NTP thought. Setting the rifle's barrel on a support—a rock—he attached the scope to the rail on top, securing it firmly.

He aimed down the scope, his finger squeezing the trigger slightly. The electromagnetic accelerators primed as the trigger was pulled.

Bang.

The trigger was squeezed enough to fire the blank round, the accelerators propelling the projectile within. NTP pulled the bolt back, ejecting the blank casing.

"That's that." NTP proceeded to pull out a three-round box magazine and insert it into the rifle. The rifle was a bullpup, meaning the magazine was located behind the trigger.

NTP then put the weapon away by transforming it into his usual dark red flame, letting the ash float away. He walked out of the cave he had turned into a makeshift workshop, engulfing it in fire as he exited, leaving no trace behind.

"So the rumors were true..." a voice echoed from the cave, accompanied by the faint crackling of fire. NTP's eyes widened slightly as he turned around.

"You always had an affinity for appearing from the flames I create," NTP spat, staring down Embris, who was leaning on her battle-axe. She was tightening her dark metal prosthetic arm. "Secret crush, I assume?" NTP teased, noticing Embris's face turning as red as a tomato as she quickly covered it.

"Mmm, n-no!" she blurted out, swinging her battle-axe at NTP, who simply back-dashed out of the way.

"Doubt..." NTP muttered as he pulled out the rifle he had made earlier—Havoc. "Wait, when did you make tha—" Embris started to say before a new hole appeared between her eyes, and she dropped to the slightly rocky ground, strands of grass growing between the stones.

The thick, oil-like blood spilled onto the ground. NTP crouched down beside the corpse. "Now, if I'm correct here..." he muttered as he lifted the body slightly and punched his hand through its chest. In his grip was a strange crystalline growth, with bits of the muscle that made up the heart attached. NTP stared at the crystal before crushing it in his hand, embers rising from the shattered remains.

NTP stared at his now empty hand, then turned Havoc into fire and ash. He sighed slightly before summoning a basic black cloak from the dark red flames he manipulated. He donned the cloak, the hood casting a shadow over his face and concealing the rest of his body. He walked off, the cloak swaying in the weak wind.

The day was still young, with the rays of the sun just beginning to shine down.

NTP walked through a very rocky field when he heard the sound of rock cracking behind him. He immediately turned around.

"Gee?" NTP said, recognizing the Godborn before him. "Guess the rumors were true then... Ay, little bro," Gee replied, wiping some dirt off his shoulder.

"Omnis got you hunting me now?" NTP asked, his posture softening slightly but still tense. Gee sighed. "Honestly, I'd rather die than do his dirty work," he replied with a slight smirk.
