I Promise (A Yeinkook Fanfic) [On Hiatus]

It's Saturday and Yein is walking to the park until she sees 2 familiar figure there, fighting. She takes a step closer and recognize both of them. It's Jeon Jungkook and Jackson Wang from the class before. Jungkook is already looking weak with blood all over his face and clothes because the muscle man beats him over and over again. She quickly runs to stop Jackson from throwing another punch to the helpless boy

"YAH! STOP!" Yein said and pushes the boy away from Jungkook. He then chuckles seeing her

"Oh.. Looks like girlfriend here is trying to help.." He teased her. She looks at her back and sees Jungkook sitting on the grass with bruises everywhere. She ignores his words and puts Jungkook's hand on her shoulder and help him or more like dragging him out of the scene. Jackson has already had enough of the boy so he just let him go. She brought him to her house and good thing her parents are out. She puts the helpless boy on the couch and when she was about to take the first-aid kit he grabs her wrist making her stop her steps. She then looks at him confuse

"W-why did you stop me?! I need to make him pay for what he did to my face! I can't surrender and leave" he said weakly and Yein just shakes her hand of from his grip and walks to the bathroom to take the first-aid kit before walking back to the living room. She takes a seat beside him and takes the cotton to clean his wounds. Jungkook suddenly take her hand and she looks up at the boy looking at her with sadness in his eyes

"I'm weak aren't I?" He said and a tear falls down to his cheek. He doesn't even mind the pain when the tear touch his bleeding cheek. He doesn't want to cry in front of others but then this time it's different. She made it all different

"S-stop underestimating yourself.." She said as she pities the crying boy

"I-i can't even stand up for myself there.." He said and looks at his thigh as tears continues flowing down. Automatically Yein wraps her arms around him and pulls him closer to her. Jungkook is surprised but doesn't even mind cause he really needs it right now. He continues crying even though it hurts like hell when it touches the wound on his face. Yein rubs his back comforting the weak boy

"You are not weak Jungkook.. This is just not you.. Fighting and getting beat up.." Yein whispers sincerely as she occasionally strokes his back. He pulls away from the hug and wipes his tears

"Why are you being so nice to me?" Jungkook asks looking at the girl's eyes

"Because I need to.." Yein said and looks down. It was silence for a few moments until she remembers that she hasn't take care of his wound. She quickly takes the cotton and drips some drop of alcohol to it

"It's gonna hurt a bit.." She said before carefully pats the cotton on the wound on his cheek. He hissed in pain and Yein stops for a second before continuing on the other wound

"Ouch!" Jungkook whines in pain

"Sorry" she said and looks at him worried

"I-i'm fine.." He said looking back at her. She continues to pat the cotton on the other wound before placing band aid on his cheek and forehead. He then thanks her and smiles sincerely at her. She smiles back before walking back to the bathroom to put the first-aid kit back to it's place. She also throws the cotton and band aid wrappers before sitting back on the couch. It's silence once again since both of them doesn't know what to talk about

"Y-yein" he said hesitating. Yein hums signaling a 'what' and looks at him

"C-can I stay here for the night? I'm afraid when my parents see me in this condition.." He says looking down even though he knows she will not let him. He is her enemy anyway and he always treats her badly so why would she let him. Other than that she also hasn't forgive him for blaming her before. But what's the loss of asking first right?

"W-what?" She said surprised at his question. Jungkook sigh and keeps looking down. I knew it. She won't let me. Jungkook thought

"What a stupid question anyway.. I'm sorry.. I better go.." He said with a hint of disappointment in his voice

"K-Kajima.. Y-you can stay.." She said after he stands up ready to leave. Jungkook is surprised but happy at the same time

"Jinjja?" He asks in disbelief. Yein just nods without even looking at him. She stands up and told him to follow him to her room. It's white and elegant. Elegant bed, elegant drawer, and elegant curtains. Yein leaves the boy to go to another room and comes back with a t-shirt and a knee-length pants. She also takes a towel and throws them at him

"Here.. If you want to take a bath.." Yein said since the boy is a mess after the fight. His clothes is also stained by a few drops of blood. Jungkook nods and takes a step inside the bathroom. It has all the scented soaps and shampoo which Jungkook loves since he's sensitive with smells. He takes a deep breath admiring the fragrant of different flowers and fruits before taking a quick bath and change into the clothes which surprisingly fits him perfectly. He steps out of the bathroom and dries his hair with the towel. She looks at him and she is lying if she says he's not hot with that brown wet hair. She quickly looks back at the book she's reading when he notices her

"Who's t-shirt and pants are these? These are definitely not yours cause it's men's" Jungkook asks and had thought it's her ex's (if she had one) for a second

"It's my brother's.. He left to study college abroad.." She replies without even taking her sight away from the book she's reading. Jungkook slightly nods and walks to hook the wet towel in the bathroom. He then remembers something and looks at her

"Yein.. Have you asked your parents yet?" He asks her. She finally looks at him and nods. He sigh in relief before taking a seat on the couch near the window

"Oh yeah.. You can sleep on my bed if you want to.. I can sleep there" she said since she's the host of the house. He quickly disagrees because he has manners and by that he should not let a girl sleep on a couch while he sleeps on the bed. She surrenders on his manners and just let it be. She then realise she hasn't give the boy food since it's a bad manner to let your guest starve. She then asks the boy if he want to eat and he nods excitedly. They walk downstair and Yein immediately makes a quick kimchi fried rice while he patiently waits for her. When she's done she puts the fried rice on the plate and serve it to the starving boy. He eats happily forgetting that it's his enemy who is actually cooking for him. After a few moments the door then opens revealing her parents. Jungkook looks at them in shock while still having food in his mouth. He quickly stands up and bows to them before swallowing the food in his mouth

"I'm Jeon Jungkook nice to meet you.." He introduce himself and smiles awkwardly. Her mother then approaches him and puts her hand on his shoulder which makes the boy more startled

"Oh.. You're Yein's boyfriend right?" She said and they both look at her in surprise

"Mom~ i told you he's not!! Stop pleasee..." She whines and her mother giggles at her daughter cute reaction. Her father then whispers to his daughter 'he's not sleeping on the same bed right?' Being a protective father

"Of course not dad.." Yein said. She's even confuse how could her father just said that. Meanwhile Yein's mother whispers 'I totally agree if you're with my daughter' teasing him and giggles. Yein quickly pulls him to avoid her parents

"You're done eating right?" She said as she pulls him. Jungkook was about to answer since he still have 2 spoons left to eat but she cuts him off

"Oh you're done.." She said continue pulling him until they reach her room. She closes the door before facing the pouting boy who crosses his arms annoyed

"I didn't even finish my food yet.." He protests

"I can cook you again later but not now.. I really don't want to hear more tease from my parents.." She said before sitting on her bed and turns on the tv with the remote. They watch an action movie. Yein is watching on her bed meanwhile Jungkook is watching from the couch near the window where he is supposed to sleep on. Half way of the movie Yein is already dozing off since it's late already and he is too mesmerized by the movie to even notice that she's already asleep. When the movie ends it's already 10 PM and he quitely creeps to the television and turns it off before turning off the light of the bedroom and bed lamp. He quitely walks to the couch and closes his eyes before finally falls asleep.
