In case any of you haven't noticed, Wattpad has a spell check ability. I highly suggest you use it. Too many stories are undesirable because of their lack of spelling and grammar and/or high amounts of text talk. It is a completely different situation if the character is looking at a badly written note, or actually texting one of the other characters, but sloppiness like either of those things in the narration part of the story itself detracts from the content. Here are excuses and the answers I give to them:
"I'm not good at spelling."
Use spell check.
"I'm not good at grammar."
Have a friend or family member edit it for you.
"I don't have enough free time to write my stories, so I use text talk to write faster."
If you don't have time or are slow at typing, you can try to use a dictation app to write your stories, or write your story a little bit at a time whenever you have a couple minutes by using the mobile app. You can also have someone faster at typing write it for you.
"I'm lazy."
That's not an excuse.
There are many ways to write a story without using text talk, poor grammar, or bad spelling. Good spelling and grammar makes you sound more professional and gives an overall more desirable story.
