A gasp was wrenched from Ariella's pretty lips.
Not from me, we were currently in the back gardens of the church where a gathering had formed full of food and laughter for Frank and his family. She was currently kneeling in the grass, where her younger cousins ran around her, throwing flower petals at her with a giggle. Ariella was nothing short of ethereal. It was like the sun was shining down on her, like Frank was smiling at his daughter still finding joy in a world that had treated her so cruelly.
Even Erik was smiling at her.
"Bless those men for saving the best Abelli," My attention was pulled to the two men standing beside me, "Lily was great, but she wasn't marriage age yet. Any bastard would be blessed to get that broad under their thumb." I furrowed my brow, watching the man take a long pull of his beer, jumping when he saw me standing beside him. "Ari, hi!" He wiped his palm on his pants before offering it to me, "I just want to offer my condolences for your loss, Frank was such an admirable man."
"Don't act like I didn't just hear what was said about Ariella."
His throat bobbed, his hand slowly lowering to his side, eyes flickering over to Ariella who was now watching with curiosity. "Eyes off her," I snapped, smirking when his eyes immediately snapped to mine, "Her mother, father, and little sister were just slaughtered, and you care about how marriageable she's going to be." I held my hand out, a silent command for Ariella, "She's off the marriage market for the foreseeable future," Ariella's dainty fingers slid into my palm and I closed my fingers around her hand. "Now if you'll excuse us."
I tugged Ariella behind me, leading her up the grand stairs to the church and through the building. "Ari," Her other hand rested on my bicep as I pushed us out the front door of the church, "What happened?"
I gripped the back of her neck, smiling when I watched her eyes bounce around my face to try and place what was wrong. I didn't give her an answer, instead, I slammed my mouth onto hers, hearing her delicate little squeak before she gripped the collar of my shirt to keep herself upright. Ariella tasted of cherries, strawberries, and sunshine. She was addicting, and when her body pressed against mine, I dipped my tongue into her mouth, needing more, craving more of her presence. It would never be enough. When I pulled away her chest was rising and falling quickly, her lips swollen and I couldn't get enough, I would never get enough.
I slipped my fingers between hers before I pulled her down the stairs and across the parking lot. Her hand was trembling in mine when I reached the SUV we arrived in.
Ariella climbed into the backseat as soon as the door was open and I nearly dove in after her, not giving her a chance to ask questions, I hauled her onto my lap, attaching my mouth to hers when the door slammed behind us. I couldn't get enough or feel enough. Ariella's hands slid through my hair as she kept up with the pace I set for us, desperate, rough, and years of tension boiling over. My hands found the zipper of her dress and I pulled it down, letting the dress pool in her lap.
I kissed down her throat, biting at the tender skin of her breasts and groaning when she moaned loudly.
Was I a monster for pulling her into a car to fuck her at her family's funeral? Probably, but I couldn't find it in me to care. Frank wouldn't want either of us to suffer, that's what I keep repeating. Would he kill me for fucking his daughter? Probably, but he's not here, and she wants it just as bad as I do.
Ariella fumbled with my belt while I marked her chest, biting and sucking on the skin. Deep purple marks appeared on her skin, the onyx hair tickling my fingers when she tipped her head back, whining at the sensation that was running through her body. If I thought Ariella was sexy as hell before, seeing her like this, with her breasts in my face and her hands desperately removing my belt, now she was fucking devastating. I wanted this image burned in my mind, where I can remember it late at night when all of this comes to an end.
