Nessa took a chance on the fact that Alex was at the gym. And by took a chance, she meant that she asked Zach and he told her because he was terrified of what would happen to him if he didn't. Nessa stormed into the gym, her body filling with rage as soon as she saw Alex lifting. Clay and Ani followed behind her, ready to take their chance to snoop through his phone while she laid into him.

Fucking liar, she thought.

"Hey, Nessa." Alex said as he set the bar back onto the stand.

"You fucking lied to me." Nessa snapped, and Alex immediately shrank. He knew he was caught. Nessa watched as Clay and Ani snuck into the locker room. She knew she had to hold him for a while.

Usually, she would feel bad. She wouldn't have even considered doing this, but Alex had lost every single bit of Nessa's trust as soon as Winston had opened his mouth.

"What are you talking about?" Alex asked worriedly as he stepped closer to her, but Nessa stepped back.

"Don't play fucking dumb with me, Alexander." Nessa barked. "You bought from Bryce, I know you did."

"I–"

"Stop talking." Nessa ordered, and Alex listened. He knew he was wrong, and he knew she was absolutely, positively pissed. "I asked Justin to make sure Clay and Ani didn't come talk to you, because I thought you deserved more respect than getting questioned about drugs from people that really don't know you all that well."

"I'm sorry." Alex muttered.

"I trusted you." Nessa cried. "Trusted you to tell me the truth, but you couldn't do that, could you? You're a fucking liar and you bought from my fucking rapist, Alex. That's just about as low as you could get."

"Nessa, I wasn't thinking right." Alex tried to defend himself. "All I could think about was getting you back."

"Well, look where that got you." Nessa snapped as she saw Clay and Ani walking out of the locker rooms, a successful look on their faces. "You lost me for good."

Nessa stormed off, not allowing Alex another word. He had broken her heart enough in the past couple of days. The boy she once knew was nowhere in her mind, he was lost in the past just like their relationship that seemed like decades ago. Nessa caught up with Clay and Ani, who filled her in on everything that they had found on Alex's phone while she was ripping him a new one.

Nessa just thought she couldn't get more pissed off, but the universe was really testing her strength.

"A fucking prostitute?" Nessa screamed as she walked with Clay and Ani across the street. "You're fucking kidding me, right? Like, someone tell me this is a joke."

"I'm sorry, Nessa." Ani said. "I'm pretty sure it's true."

Ani recalled the events of the phone call to Nessa and Clay, Nessa balling her fists with anger with each word. She had no idea who Alex was anymore, yet somehow she felt guilty. She felt like she made him into everything that he never was before, and that just made her sad.

"Wait, we aren't going there, are we?" Clay asked. "I mean, we know what we need to know. Bryce blackmailed him for it."

"But does that sound like Bryce to either of you?" Ani asked. "I mean, it seems like Bryce would celebrate him for scoring with a pro."
