Hello, and welcome! Before we get into the story, I decided to give you guys some useful information.
For starters, this story is a re-write of my other 10k x reader story, "The Snipers of the Apocalypse". Let me explain why.
I fell off writing for a while, and when I decided to get back into it, I started reading TSOTA, as I couldn't, for the life of me, remember what I had written, and realized multiple things;
1. My writing has most definitely evolved since I published the first chapter years ago, and it honestly made me cringe at certain parts.
2. I fell off the x-reader aspect of the story in later chapters, only really referring to the "reader" as the name I had given them, Alrrami.
3. There were many sections I had seen that could be re-written, just, better. And, instead of editing the book and many viewers simply missing them (as they had already more than likely read far past these points), I made the decision to just re-write the book how I would write it now, as an adult.
Bare with me, loyal and new readers, as we move ahead and turn "The Snipers of the Apocalypse" into an evolved, more rounded story.
