Major thanks to Shuichi Aso for bringing Saiki K. into the world. I watched the anime on a whim and got completely hooked. I haven't laughed that hard in a while, and to be honest, it's been pretty refreshing to write something light and goofy.

Thanks to Gege Akutami too, I guess. I didn't laugh nearly as much going through Jujutsu Kaisen (still going through it now, wish me luck) but thanks for giving us our blue-eyed king, at least.

The idea for this fic struck me out of nowhere, and I really had no idea where I was planning on going with it. It's always fun imagining how two OP characters would interact, and after mourning that the Hidden Inventory arc is, in fact, not a sweet coming of age story about Gojo, I figured I might as well try plopping Gojo into Saiki K. to see what happened. I had a ton of fun incorporating references into this fic and making Gojo an all-around menace. It's the least he deserves.

I always cut things from fics and this lowkey crack fic is no exception. I wanted to include something with Saiko Metori (because Gojo is rich, right?) and expand more on Gojo's hijinks with Nendo, Kaido, and Aren. Mera's plot with her dad and the loan sharks was supposed to make an appearance but was scrapped. I also planned to do more with Aiura, Toritsuka, and Akechi, but that didn't make it in favour of spending more time with Gojo and Saiki. (There was also supposed to be a scene where Gojo straight out flirts with Kurumi and Kuniharu gets distraught, but that will be saved for another fic, I think.)

At first, I didn't intend for there to be so much overlap between JJK and Saiki K., but it was probably an aftereffect of writing about Gojo so much. Shoko and Suguru weren't going to included originally (for that tang of angst), but they made their way in somehow. Toji and Megumi were added as an afterthought (and now their chapters are my favourites lol). Utahime was added literally at the last minute too, so I hope you enjoyed her cameo.

Lemme know if you read this as a reader-insert or a ship fic! I mostly wrote it as a reader-insert, but somewhere along the way the reader character started morphing into Gojo. A cool effect of basing the reader character after an actual character lol. Lemme know also some of your favourite moments, lines, chapters, any of that! Maybe you were hoping to see more of Gojo and Saiki, but I'll let you guys imagine their further shenanigans.
