Part 14
Something heavy crashed to the floor.
"Hyunjin, if you stop me again, I'll drag Felix here and kill him in front of you. Strip. Now" Beol's voice was ice.
"P-please... I c-can't..." Hyunjin's tears splashed onto the ground between them.
"Your shame is worthless." Beol fisted his hand in Hyunjin's hair, wrenching his head back.
Hyunjin whimpered, shaking his head weakly—
"Then I'll do it for you." Beol's hands tore at fabric—
The door exploded inward.
"BEOL!" Jeon Sung's roar shook the walls.
"J-Jeon Sung—?" Beol barely had time to turn before—
CRACK. A fist shattered across his jaw.
"I told you," Jeon Sung snarled, "never touch him."
"Since when do you care?" Beol spat blood.
"We raped them all so why not him?" Beol spat blood onto the floorboards. "What makes this one so special?"
Jeon Sung's boot slammed into Beol's ribs with a sickening crack. "Finish that sentence and I'll cut out your tongue."
"You think I don't see it?" Beol laughed wetly, clutching his side. "The way you watch him. Touch him softer than the others."
Hyunjin's breath hitched by the doorway
"You're disgusting." Jeon Sung's blade flashed in the lamplight. "Those children were never yours to take."
"But they were yours?" Beol's grin widened as the knife pressed to his throat.
The blade drew blood. Hyunjin whimpered. Hyunjin stared, trembling.
"Unless..." Beol wheezed, "you're in love with that little boy too?"
The room froze. Hyunjin's breath caught. Hyunjin listened in shocked silence, his mind reeling. Can a boy really love another boy?The forbidden question burned through his thoughts, each word leaving scorch marks on his fragile understanding of the world
Beol's words still hung in the air like smoke, choking him *Love? Is that what this feeling is? His fingers trembled- not from fear now, but from something far more dangerous.
Jeon Sung froze at the sound. When he spoke again, his voice was deadly quiet. "Yuhi. Take him to my quarters. No one touches him tonight."
As the door closed behind them, Beol's laughter followed "How poetic - the beast finally found something too pure to defile!"
The hallway stretched endlessly before them, Hyunjin's shallow breaths echoing off the stone walls. Yuhi felt the boy's trembling through their connected arms - tiny earthquakes of lingering terror.
"Breathe, child. You're safe now." Yuhi's voice was softer than Hyunjin had ever heard. He knew better than anyone that *safe* was an illusion here.
"Th-thank you... both..." Hyunjin's words came in fractured whispers. "When he... when he said he'd... come for me tonight..."
When Beol told Hyunjin in the bathroom that he would save him tonight, Yuhi secretly listened to them and then told Jeon Sung everything
Hyunjin's grip tightened. He remembered crouching outside the bathroom door hours earlier, stomach churning as Beol's promises slithered through the cracks
**BANG.**
The gunshot cracked through the silence. Hyunjin flinched hard, fingers digging into Yuhi's sleeve. "Was that—?"
