Thirty One

Guys I saw 5sos in concert tonight... OMG THEY WERE AMAZING!!! I lost my voice from screaming so much, got some merch, and hands down had the best experience of my life! And since the concert was in Dallas Texas (where I live) Luke had been practicing for two days how to say "Howdy y'all" and then they didn't know if it was offense, or they thought maybe since we lived in Dallas that "we're sick of this shit" (Cal actually said that). But it was REALLY REALLY hot today, like I almost passed out and a bunch of other people actually did too, but anywhore they were all wearing pants and then Ash said he was "sweating his balls off". Then at the end of the show they threw cowboys hats into the crowd for people to take and have. Plus, the encore was so good. I honestly was close to tears quite a few times during the concert. And can I just say, SKH was fucking awesome...

It doesn't even seem real, but it was and it was incredible!

"What in the world!" Was heard from Ashton's doorway.

"Mum, I can explain-"

"What happened to you?! Who did this?!" She scrabbled out questions, suddenly stopping to ask one more. "Who's your friend?" Her face softened as she walked over to me as I sat next to Ashton's bed, making sure he was okay.

"Mum this is Calum. Calum this is my mum," Ashton said, sitting up with a grunt.

"Nice to meet you, hun," she greeted sweetly, rubbing my shoulder. "Now back to you." She pointed at her son before crossing her arms over her chest.

"I, uh, sort of got into a fight today at school," he stuttered out, not looking tbe woman in the eyes.

She gasped, hitting his bruised arm. "How did you just 'sort of' get into a fight?!"

"I was sticking up for Calum," he mumbled, grabbing my hand gently and linking our fingers.

"You never told me you two were together," she sighed, sitting next to Ashton.

"I was going to tell you last night, but you were working late by the time I got home, so I just decided I would tell you after school," the curly haired boy explained, finally looking at his mother. He was most likely afraid she wouldn't approve of the relationship.

But then she grinned, making me let out the breath I didn't know I was holding. "That's great, Ash! Really great! I'm happy if you're happy!"

"I am." He grinned back as he glanced at me, winking slyly.

My cheeks turned pink as she said she would go get Ashton some ice for his head, and Ashton turned to me.

"I think she likes you," he told me, squeezing my small hand compared to his.
