Some forgotten Tales ...
This gentle thread
of memory releases
unexpected tears
moving selfish sadness
carried as relief
within your wooden limbs.
I make a note.
A tickle of
deceitful thoughts,
reminders of misdeeds,
confirm the weight
of a remorseful past
tucked into the
corners of your heart.
The story rises.
A brisk river cleansing
brings a shower of
gifts to dissolve
the words imposed
on your person
in the underworld
of your imagination.
I push this one down.
Yet another heavy rain
of lessons taught
by leading experts
in their well-kept field
with no consideration
for your growing needs.
Adapting, I survive.
