Until Then

I'm gently swaying in this old swing,

Hiding underneath that huge oak tree.

Surrounded by all the beautiful fireflies,

Shining in the summer moonlight.

I stare up at the millions of stars,

I can't help but wonder where you are.

Wondering if I'm ever on your mind,

Do you think about crossing this old Georgia line?

Do you have the desire to be here with me?

Rewinding, reminiscing on old memories.

Holding me tight inside your arms,

Completing that emptiness inside my heart.

Sadly we had to say good-bye,

But you're still in my dreams and my love for you will never die.
