Woah, I owe Sirius so much money

I need to get away from here, I can't handle it any longer. All their doing is just making fun of me and I'm not in the mood for that right now
"Uh- I'll see you guys in a sec, I need to use the bathroom"
I say in a mumble, before running out of the library and up to our room. I quickly rush around the room to grab the cloak, the map (so they can't find me), and my jacket before sneaking up to the astronomy tower.
Once I get there I just lay, I lay  near the edge stare at the sky, I don't know much about it but it does looks cool. I just lay there and think I'm not sure how long it's been but all of a sudden I hear the doors open and I shoot up almost falling off the edge
"Shit!"
I quickly grab on to the rail and walk closer to the middle of the room. I really wanted to be alone damn it. "James..?"
It's Regulus, of course it is, the same reason I've been getting made fun of. I happen to start liking someone who isn't Lily and all my mates just think it's a joke. Then of course that person has to show up when I'm trying to avoid the fact.
"Regulus" I say as I turn and nod at him "I know you'd probably love to make fun of me right now but I'm just not in the mood and would appreciate it if you left"
Though instead of leaving he just plopped down beside me
"No I don't think so"
I turn to look at him, loving the way the moon casts a glow on his face and the way he has the smallest hint of a smile on his lips.
"Well I'm really not in the mood for you right now so.."
He just stares at my before leaning into my shoulder leaving me to tense up.
"Do you wanna talk about it? I can listen and try to be nice"
I pause, not sure if I can trust that, but honestly I don't think my mood could worsen anymore.
"My mates keep making fun of me cause I like this guy and they don't believe I like someone who isn't Lily, makes me feel like that's all they see me as, just a guy hung up on the same girl his whole life- Sorry I was rambling" I quickly let out knowing he hates when I talk to much.
"Don't apologize for letting your feelings out James" He sounds so calm and the look of content in his eyes makes it really hard for me to not lean in. So bad that what I did I leaned in and kissed him.
I gently grabbed the side of his face and pulled him in leaving a long kiss on his lips feeling him pause before kissing me back. Shit. I pull back and look at him frightened, I know we were making progress as friends but that definitely overstepped a boundary.
"Sorry about that, uhm I'm gonna go, bye reg" I stumble over my feet and my words as I pick up my stuff and rush back to the dorm.

"Remus! Are you here, and if you are is Sirius not?"
I stand in the middle of the room pacing and running my fingers through my hair
"Yeah mate I'm here, and sirius is with Lily, what's up?"
I gulp and look him in the eyes "I did something, like this is bad, this is really bad"
He sighs and puts his head in his hands.
"Prongs? what is it?"
"I kissed Regulus"
I rush out not wanting to look at him or hide the truth I just needed to let it out.
He snaps his head up, and I know cause I heard it crack "woooah, I owe Sirius soo much money"
I look at him crazily "What?!"

5 days earlier

"Omg pads there is just no way James fancies your little brother! That's just ridiculous"
Sirius just glares at him "Moony I swear it is! I even been you 20 galleons that he'll kiss him within the next week"
Remus looks bored, obviously thinking he's gonna win
"Fine pads, I guess you have a deal, and just so you know I'm definitely gonna win"

"REMUS! You bet on me!?"
I'm so angry at them, I'm fuming, but also proud of how well Sirius knew me.
"Technically I didn't, Sirius did, I just agreed"
"Merlin Remus! that's the same thing!"
There's a creak and we both pause as Sirius walks in and takes a seat next to Remus.
"What are you guys arguing about"
I glare at Sirius "The fact you and Remus bet on me" I pause and glance at Remus "congrats on winning by the way"
Sirius beams at me before turning to Remus "I knew it moony! I knew I'd win, I told James fancies my brother"
Remus grumbles and reaches into his trunk and grumpily hands Sirius 20 galleons.
