Liora was a quiet, mysterious girl that always grabbed the attention of other but it never seem to faze her. She lived a normal life until it came to crashing down or so she thought. Her parents Fiona Dior and Max Dior were in the Mafia and she didn't find out until she was eighteen....

"Liora come her now!" her mom shouted from downstairs.
"coming mom" Liora said making her way to where her mom called.
"Please sit down honey we need to talk about a serious matter" she said with a worry on her face

*I wonder what she might need. I'm I in trouble?* worry filled my head when she said those words. My dad was sitting down with his hands running in his hair.

"talk to me I'm getting scared" I said wanting them to get everything out already

"darling we are sorry to break this to you but you have to get married soon and fast" she finally said looking at me

"What you're so funny please tell me that was a joke" I said with a nervous chuckle

"No it's not and we have a letter to give you because I can't bring myself to tell you this but we really need you to understand" my mom said

*she handed me the letter that was folded and both my mom and dad got up leaving the living room. I opened the letter and started reading it*

"By the decree of our families, you are to be wedded to Santos Moretti. This is non-negotiable and essential for both our families as we play a huge role in our community. You will be meeting him tomorrow to talk to each other"

*the letter slipped from my hands. I felt a rush of emotions, fear, anger, disbelief. My mind filled with so many questions. Who is Santos Moretti?Why have my life been cut short with such notice? How is my life going to be?*

*I ran back upstairs to my room with tears in my eyes, wondering where everything went wrong*
