King Jovan was the king mad for power, I had witnessed it firsthand. This was the first line of the prophecy being true.

He loved power more than life itself.

No one could estimate how big of a mess would be created just by his greedy desire of ruling the realities. Justin narrowed his eyes at me drawing a deep breath. In his opinion, I was wasting time trying to decipher the prophecy.

I wouldn't blame him though. Anyone would think it is stupid to believe in prophecies, but something told me this one was worth a shot. In fact, out of all those logical books Justin was seeking answers from made a way less sense than this one did.

But I wasn't able to think beyond a certain point. I wanted him to help me.

Cole had already fallen asleep with a book in his hands while Justin wore a scowl as he skimmed through pages, desperate for some kind of clues.

Exhausted, I put down the manuscript.

"You found anything yet?" I asked him.

He nodded, "I didn't find a way out but I found more about the problem. A lot more than I ever thought of."

He sounded disappointed in himself. What does this boy think he has to have answers of everything on his own?
