Journey Through Desolation

"A Royal Quest for Redemption"

Planet Sajara

I have been walking for days in the middle of the desert. I've lost count of how many days it has been. My mother, the queen, sent me to Mt. Bernares, which I must cross along with several deserts. The world is extremely hot right now, and I feel utterly exhausted. People are suffering because they have nothing to eat. There are hardly any trees left; only tall grasses remain.

Based on my estimation, I am close to reaching Mt. Bernares because I can see what looks like a mountain forming to the north. My food and water supplies are almost depleted.

As I walked, I felt like someone was following me. I ignored it because I was too weak from hunger, having limited what little I could eat. I really felt as though someone was behind me. When I turned around, I saw a woman with her back to me, dressed in white.

I called out to her, but when I did, my ear started to hurt. I tried calling her again, but the pain in my ear intensified. I approached her while covering my ear because the noise around me was unbearable.

When I touched her, I suddenly woke up. That's when I realized that the pain in my ear was caused by soldiers from the west, who had woken me up with a trumpet they had placed near my ear.

They asked me where I was from, and I answered that I was from Zanem. I showed them my certificate that proved my identity and origin. The certificate I gave them was different because it was part of the queen's orders not to reveal my identity to the soldiers from the west. If they discovered I was royalty, they would kill me.

They returned my certificate and walked east. It was already afternoon, and I sat down briefly to eat. While I was eating, I thought about my mother and my siblings back at the palace. We would be so happy to gather together for a meal.

Several hours passed since last night when I lay down on the mat I had placed on the sand. As I lay there, I stared at the stars that twinkled in different colors.

I realized that one of the stars was getting bigger and was about to fall towards me. I quickly got up and ran, fearing I might get burned. I remembered hearing that a fallen star was very hot. As I ran, I suddenly turned around, and lights swirled around me. I felt my eyes brighten, even though it was blinding, as I saw the glow of the star.

Suddenly, the surroundings changed; everything became very bright, and there were women flying around with wings that sparkled like stars. One of the women approached me, and I recognized her because I had seen her many times in my dreams and just last night in the desert. However, we couldn't communicate because I kept waking up.

She was incredibly beautiful, tall, and had long hair. She wore white, and her eyes were blue. She called my name and said she was the Goddess of Stars. She had seen how miserable the people were and mentioned that the other goddesses had abandoned them. She told me that I was destined to save the people using the four elements of the magic of stars.
