Second person's POV:

Muichiro just sliced the fish-like creature's weak spot off. The demon-fish was disintegrating while Kotetsu was hiding behind a bush, looking shocked as Muichiro slayed the creature. Muichiro looked down at the creature with an emotionless expression.

'It was getting its power from that vase. So it's definitely a product of Blood Demon Art', Muichiro thought. Kotetsu jumped out of the bush and ran towards Muichiro with full speed. He jumped up and hugged Muichiro like a koala.

"Waahh! Thank you!", Kotetsu cried out and jumped off him again, "I thought I was a goner! I thought I was dead! I was so scared!", he cried and swung his arms before jumping on Muichiro again.

"I shouldn't have called you 'seaweed head'! I'm so sorry!", Kotetsu yelled while trembling. Muichiro looked confused and tilted his head.

"You called me 'seaweed head'?", he asked. Kotetsu immediately jumped off him again and got sad again.

"Sorry! I didn't like you!", he cried on the floor. Muichiro sighed and turned around.

"I don't have time for this. I'm leaving now, so do whatever you want", he walked away from Kotetsu, who looked up from the ground and held out his hand.

"Wait! They attacked Kanamori-san too! When I went to help him out, that monster assaulted me!", he said and ran after Muichiro. He stood in front of Muichiro in attempt to stop him from walking.

"Haganezuka-san's been working non stop without sleep to restore a sword...so if he stops even for a second, that will be the end of it! Please..", Kotetsu went on his knees and bowed to Muichiro, "save him!".

Muichiro stood still for a few seconds as he looked at the hunched Kotetsu in front of him.

"No...I...", Muichiro trailed off before having a flashback of Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

"You'll be able to find yourself again for sure...Muichiro", Kagaya said as he smiled at him in his memory.

Muichiro's eyes widen as he touched his head while gasping softly.

Muichiro was lying down in a futon next to Kagaya Ubuyashiki and his wife Amane, injured and bandaged.

"I know you must be confused, but for now, just focus on living, nothing more. As long as you're alive, things will work out. You'll regain your lost memories without fail. There's nothing to worry about", Kagaya said to the injured male with a gentle smile. Muichiro looked lost and confused but stayed quiet.

"Just don't let your chance slip away. It will start out as something insignificant...", Kagaya said as he pointed to his head, "and then it will clear away...the mist in your head".

Muichiro looked shocked as he stared into nothing. Suddenly, he grabbed Kotetsu and threw him over his shoulder and began running off to who knows where. Kotetsu yelled and wiggled around in his grasp.

"WOAH! Hold up! Go a little slower will you?! Just a tiny bit slower!", Kotetsu yelled in Muichiro's ear.

"Don't talk or you'll bite your tongue", Muichiro said nonchalantly as he kept running. Kotetsu yelled even more after hearing that. Muichiro sweat-dropped as he began thinking of what he was doing right now.

'Is this the right thing to do? Isn't this going to keep me from protecting the entire village?', he thought but then frowned, 'No, I can do it. Because I'm a Demon Slayer who's been recognized by the Master. The Mist Hashira... Muichiro Tokito', he said to himself and gave himself a boost which made him run faster.
