"But—" before I could ever fully respond, the security guard opened the door of room 101. I instantly goes behind his back for the fear that what I could have seen is nothing more but a—ghost. So much of becoming too curious with a lot of things.

"Miss Silence, I told you not to play in this room anymore. You're scaring the students again." The guard firmly told the girl that I saw earlier. Wait a minute. So if he can talk to her, that means she's not a ghost— but a real person!

Upon realizing it, I fastly stood straight beside the security guard to see the girl that I was curious about. But I guess I was too late because she was already gone right even before I saw her.

I'll swear to find you. I silently told myself as I walked outside the building along with the security guard.

That same night, I visited our school page and tried to search for the girl whose name is Silence. If I'm not yet turning to have a hearing impairment, I guess what I heard to the guard is clear. Her name is Silence. What a unique name.

However, as time passes by, I can't find any single information or any account that connects to her. Flashes of What If's starts to cloud my mind as I slowly become hopeless of finding the girl that finally caught my interest.

To be honest, I figured out that most of the introverted people are mostly demisexual and sapiosexuals. They must have the emotional and intellectual connection first with an individual before they get attracted to them. And part of this, I think, is that the prospective person that they would like must be unique and somehow can connect to them on a soul or intellect level at some point.

I was about to give up on my quest when I accidentally hit the history button of our page and it directs me to a specific painting of the recent family who owns our school, the Morrigan's.

Portrayed skillfully using the method of oil painting is an image of a family of aristocrats, in which I can say, are all looking fine wearing their best dresses. Tuxedos for men, and regency period dresses for women.

I tried to zoom in the information written below the painting, and in gold-plated it was carved:

From Left to Right, Standing: Mr. Earl Benedict C. Morrigan, Older son, along with his two sisters, Ms. Nikolaevna C. Morrigan and Ms. Gwendolen C. Morrigan. (Clementine)

From Left to Right, Sitting: Mr. Hans Theodore C. Morrigan, Owner, along with his youngest daughter, Edelweiss Silence C. Morrigan, and his loving wife, Ophelia C. Morrigan.

Painted during —

I wasn't able to read the date of the painting clearly, but I put it aside since I think that the portrait was just recently painted a couple of years ago. Why? Because I finally saw the girl that I was looking for.

Edelweiss Silence C. Morrigan. You have such a wonderful pair of hazel eyes. The only pair of eyes that is different from your family's pair of green eyes.

Who are you? And why is melancholy written across your eyes?
