The unbearable sound of metal wheels rattling over rails came to my ears, the sound of my music turning up getting louder than the metal. The heavy bag around my shoulder gotten heavier with every step I took up the station stairs. People running around trying to catch the next Tram. My eyes as heavy as my bag, I finally managed to escape the horrors of the underground.
As I took the last step, a drop of cold water hit the tip of my nose, rain. I looked up into the sky seeing the darkest sky I've ever seen. Behind me people still ran up and down the stairs some even knocking over my bag a few times making me putting it back on again.
I finally found the strength to walk down the road to my friends house. People were looking at me, I could feel their stares, on my whole body. My choice of cloth really wasn't the best for today, I wore a black leather mini dress almost exposing my butt cheeks, I think you could see everything under the dress in the right angle.
I finally stood in front of the main entrance from the apartment building my friend lived in, I rang her doorbell, waited a few seconds and finally heard the sound of her voice. She opened the door and I walked up to the elevator, she lived on the 6th floor. I got in and pressed the 6th button. Waiting for the elevator to arrive, I searched through my bag looking for her boyfriends present. I found it and held it in my hand.
It was his 25th birthday, he wanted to celebrate it with all his friends, he never celebrated his birthday, but something changed his mind and I really want to know what did, my best friend don't usually does party's in her apartment and after what happened between her and her boyfriend I never would've thought that they would still be together.
Not gonna lie I always had a thing for him, but I was to proud to ever admit to that, and she was my best friend I could never snatch away her man. I was heartbroken but never showed. I walked up to her apartment door, her door stood slightly open. I took off my shoes like the rest of the guests did and got inside, I looked around surprised not seeing anyone.
No one was there, no voices not even a breath was in the air. I heard a bit of music coming from her bedroom.
