Pete, I am sorry for suddenly coming here and dropping this news, I am truly sorry.
Pete just stared at his step sister who is 7 years older than him, right now she is standing infront of him with a frown on her face and biting her lips as she is nervous after saying this big thing to him.

"Are you being serious?" Pete stared at her in disbelief as he asked this question again, he has lost the count of how many times he has asked her this and he keep getting same response from her which a slight nod without making any eye contact as she is too ashamed to do it.

"Xia you can't just expect me to leave this home and shift with someone I dont even know. Why would I will leave my own home?"Pete says with slightly raising his voice.

I know this was so sudden and I aslo don't want this but our dad...she stops as she is trying to find right words which doesn't offends Pete.
"Our dad had a lot of loan and before passing away he actually put this place as a bait for the loanshark so you can't stay here anymore you have to leave this place as soon as possible before that loanshark started chasing you for being a nuisance".

She simply says that as its not a big thing.

"Ofcourse it's not a big thing for her she doens't even live here she doesn't have to be affected by this at all"
Pete thoughts to himself.

"So, Where will I even go?cause I know damn well I cant move in with you, your boyfriend really dislikes me thinking I can steal you from him. You are not expecting me to go and started staying on road?"

Ofcourse not.**she quickly responds and says*
"I have talked to my boyfriend about this and yes you are right he doesn't allow you to move in with us but he is ready to help you"

How?By beating me up and sending me to hospital for months?Is this his solution?"
Pete asks getting annoyed knowing how things are between them and him helping him doesn't sound right at all to him.

Pete...he isn't that bad...*She said unsurely herself but she quickly changed the topic and continued.

"You can shift with his brother".He came back from France few weeks ago and he lives alone and his place is big enough to fit dozen of people so..
*Xia says with a awkard smile*

"It's worse than staying at roads. How can I move in with total stranger i never saw in my life? This isn't even the main point how he is?what type of person he is? everything matters here?What is he is someome with criminal history and people chases him? Because of him I might end up in jail or maybe in hospital? Or worse I might end up iny grave. I am not going to shift with a stranger i don't even know".
Pete says almost panicking how can his sister even expect him to move in with someone just like that.

Xia sighed and stared at Pete.
"Oh she is getting angry".Pete thought to himself.

"So where will you go?you are jobless and a lazy person with no friends you do nothing just stay at home and not to forget whenever it comes to interact socially you run away you have nowhere to go so stop making you life more harder than it already and hear me out".
"You will shift in with my boyfriend's brother. He has no dark past like you are thinking of my boyfriend's family is clean and I am hearing no more excuses."
Xia said this all in a serious and stern tone like this is the final decision and no one can change it.

Pete knows better to go against Xia. Whenever she gets angry it's never nice she can actually strangle him if she gets angry.

"Jeez her and her double personality i will never get used to it"
Pete grumpily mumbles to himself.

"So when I have to shift?". Pete asks finally accepting the defeat. Xia brightly smiles and says "Today, In fact right now".
Pack up I am taking you out of this place before you become meat for that crazy lowmsharks".

"Maybe all the badluck decided to choose me in this world". Pete said and Xia just shrugged.

"Are you sure we are at right place?"Pete asks starting at penthouse right in front of him.
Damn, I feel like I am meeting Thailand's Prince or what why he is staying in more luxury than his brother, Pete thought to himself thinking about that one time he visited Xia boyfriend's place it was big but not like this.

"Yes we are at right place". Let's go inside. Xia said walking away, Pete just silently followed her thinking how he definitely doesn't belong here. He looked at his clothes, He was wearing hoodie and baggy pants. "I hope people doesn't misunderstood me for a servent like they do on those drama. Wait, what if that damn brother end up bullying me too?"
With the luck I am sure nothing good going to happen".Pete said but he was cut off when xia asked him to walk fast.

As they reached the door Xia finally pressed the bell. Suddenly Pete heart was beating too fast. He isn't used to be with people and shifting in with a stranger is something which is making him nervous.

Even after pressing bell 2-3 times there was no response.
Xia nd Pete stared at eachother awkardly.

Is someone even living- *Before pete can continue the door opened*

Revealing a man who was wearing black tanktop and had messy hairs and also smelling of cigarettes.

Oh Vegas, you....* Xia looked up and down at the man who she just called Vegas*
Uhm anyways this is Pete, my brother. I am sure Jack told you that he will be shifting with you".

That man named vegas turned his gaze towards pete making pete startled, that man eyes were sharp and empty.
He felt like he is staring at his soul.

Suddenly a little smirk formed in corner of his lips.
With a nod, Vegas said "Yes Jack told me about him".

Why do I feel like he is a bad news for me?
*Pete said in his mind after seeing that man who looks like he just took a cigarette shower and probably love to punch people for fun*.
