"This is my room! If you want a hair tie I can share one with you!"
The little girl opened a drawer packed to the brim with hair ties of various colors.

After breakfast, Toga was adamant that she should be the one to give Tenko a tour of the school. She justified it by being the self proclaimed student council president, even if she was only one of two students.

"That means you're my vice president now!"
She said happily.

Vice president? Already?

"You can see the playground from my window too! I like to go on the swing and have Mr. (Y/n) push me,"

That sounded nice. This place was a lot bigger than he thought, which made it confusing on how it was still running with little to no students.

They left the pink room and walked in front of a shut door.

"Mr. (Y/n) says that this is someone else's room, but I've never seen anyone else here!"
She explained.

Suddenly, she did a double take before lowering her voice,
"I think it's for a ghost!"

Tenko shivered at the thought, then thought for a moment. If the room belonged to a ghost, then that meant ghosts were real! Maybe his mom and sister were ghosts and he could see them again!

He thought for a moment longer before shaking his head. There was no need to get his hopes up like that.

They could hear a bell ring, and though he was a little confused as to where the sound was coming from, he followed Toga to the classroom.

It wasn't the biggest classroom he'd been in, but by no means was it cramped, the large windows making the area seem a lot bigger than it actually was.

Vines creeped along the walls of the classroom, along with various cutesy decor, perfect for all ages.

At the front of the classroom, you sat at a large wooden desk, and the two children took their seats at their smaller desks.

Tenko watched as Toga pulled a pink notebook out of her backpack along with some pretty pencils, and when he looked back to your desk, you were gone!

"I'm right here, kiddo,"
Standing right next to him, you placed an inch thick notebook on his desk, and a few pencils.

"This notebook has all the materials and worksheets you'll need for the school year. Keep it safe, alright?"
You said with a smile.

He nodded like his life depended on it, writing his name on the cover.

"Now, do you have any questions before we start, Tenko?"
You asked as you sat at your seat.

He thought for a moment before asking,
"How come she has a different book? And are we the only students?"

"Himiko's at a younger school level than you, so she'll have a notebook which reflects that. And yes, currently you're the only two students at the school,"

Your intonation on the word students was a little strange, but Tenko decided to brush it off, instead opening up his notebook to start his lesson. The school work was a good distraction from everything going on in his mind, helping him mentally return to the time when everything was 'normal'.
