Back in the days of humans, The Copper9 Clash was an underground cage fight, were humans put two modified drones against each other, winning or loosing money, depending if they bet right.

But now, with the organic oppressors out of the way...

„WE CAN ALL WITNESS THE CLASH OF THE CENTURIE!!!"

The announcers voice howled through the stadium, as well as every worker-drone home with a TV.

„TONIGHT! The unbeatable Skullcracker, long-time champion and fan-favourite, will face off-„

Skullcracker hurled himself over the cage bars, flexing his enhanced exo-skeleton. Striking poses that specifically drew attention to the foresterdrone-Horns1 wielded to the sides of his head.

1) Foresterdrones: Bison-like drones build to take care of the forests and woodland of copper9 to keep up the breathable atmosphere. Their programming is not self-aware enough to understand the changes of the core-collapse, so they are still taking care of the forest. Travelling vast distances in search of fertile soil and fresh saplings to nourish.

„Against an PROMESING UNDERDOG in the form of-"

The spotlights turned to the other side of the cage.

„... A Murderdrone?!"

The stadium went silent.

Truth was: Skullcrackers real opponent, the quadruple-Striker, hightailed the second he saw the infamous yellow eyes searching something through the darkness.

Serial designation B, however, was not here for a fight.

„No need to panic. " She said, her voice neutral and calm. Monotonous even. „I'm just here to pick up my kids and be on my way."

„Kids? Oh this is just great news!" Somewhere was whispered in the crowd. „Now these things can multiply! " Bs left eye glitched at being called a thing, but she could not allow herself to be distracted right now. She needed to find them, and quick.

Someone, somewhere in the crowd, a voice-cracking, energetic and overly optimistic voice called: „Hi B! I didn't knew you participated!"

All eyes (And Spotlights) went to two workerdrone kids. The boy with green eyes and a small crack on his screen, and the smaller girl with blue eyes, a ponytail and glasses. Greg waved at B, happy so see her. Silver nodded shyly at the spectators.

„Thank Moe i found you. We are going to tal-" „Talk!?"

Again, both the announcer and Skullcracker interrupted her. Such poor manners.

„How dare you talk about talking knowing what you are!" The station erupted in cheers, how brave Skullcracker was, standing up to a Disassembly-drone! "No, we will not talk. In the Clash we FIGTH! And I will avenge all that you have taken!"

The way he said it was too spectacular to be genuine. As good of an actor Skullcracker might be, he couldn't hide his nervousness. Not being able to soil your pants was a weird thing to be grateful for.

„I am not. Here. To fight." Her voice didn't change. It rarely did have a hint of emotion.

But Skullcracker had already convinced the crowd. It wanted to see a fight, so he charged.

B was surprised at this, but quickly recovered. She summersaulted over his head, light and agile like an acrobat, but if one had as sensitive audio receptors as her, they might have heard a tiny squeak coming from her knee.
