Chapter 9- Renewed

Dean's Pov

While Dean was walking back to his dorm he thought about Sierra. This is the first time he's genuinely had fun with Sierra without negative emotions attached. He laughed at her and she didn't get mad at him, he helped her, he picked her up and carried her all the way to her dorm as they just talked and joked around. He realized they were turning a new leaf. He also realized they had one more meeting before they presented and they needed to work well to get a good grade on their project so he hoped this energy would carry over to their final meeting.

"Hey, where were you?" Thomas asks as Dean walks through the door.

"With Sierra."

"Why? I thought you didn't like her?"

"Well she wiped out on the treadmill so I helped her to her dorm."

"Oh what a gentleman. Did you get a kiss as a thank you?" Thomas teased.

"Yeah right. And Rome was built in a day." Dean said sassily as he walked into his room.

Dean heard a ping from his computer and he looked down and it was an email from Sierra.

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for tonight. I appreciate you helping me and not making a big deal about me falling or whatever. BUT if you tell anyone I WILL kill you so shut up. Also what time works best for our final meeting?

Dean chuckled at Sierra's threat. He knew she wouldn't do anything, but he didn't plan on telling anyone anything besides Thomas. Thomas wouldn't say anything and he didn't even laugh when he told him, so Sierra was safe.

I won't tell anyone because contrary to popular belief I'm a good person not because of your weak threat. But anyways I'm free at 5pm but we will probably be there until 5am. Stop emailing me, my number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Dean's Pov Cont.

Dean was tired of emailing Sierra; it felt so formal and they were way past formal. Even though tomorrow would be a lot of work he was for the first time excited to meet with her and he was confused why, but all he knew that he felt positive about it so he went with it. Dean layed down and was beginning to fall asleep until his phone next to him buzzed.

well u deserved to be awoken with that sassy ass response you gave me (S)
