Wesley was older than you by 5 minutes so you did everything in life to bother him. You both knew you wanted to do something in Law but he chose to be a Defense Attorney while you chose to 'work for the enemy' as Wesley says.

However you guys loved each other so during work you were enemies but after hours you were bestfriends.

Unfortunately you were handling stuff overseas and missed His wedding and everything that came after it. When you left they weren't even engaged and now they have a 6 month old.

You were out to eat with Angela today as you told Wesley she needed a day away. You set your champagne down and looked at her "Angela I am really sorry I missed everything. I wish I could've helped you and been there for the both of you"

Angela shook her head sipping her drink. "Girl do not beat yourself up. You had no choice but to leave. Who knows what he would've done if he found you before we shot him."

You nodded as she was right. You're ex was not a great guy and nearly killed you. You finally had enough evidence to get him arrested and then the detective died and was indicted for being dirty so he got let go.

You fled the country. You knew you were going to leave until either A) he was sentenced to life or B) he died and thankfully B happened.

"What happened again with him anyways? All Wesley told me was that there was a shoot out"

Angela chuckled "Yeah he ended up being involved in some bank robbery and my friend Tim shot him. It was clean shoot he's back to work"

"Tim? Is he that cute blonde hair eyed blue eyed one" you said completely cultivated by him. Angela laughed "Yes Officer Bradford"

You've seen him a couple times as you've handled his cases but you've never really spoken. You always thought he was really handsome but the last time you knew he was married.

"Is he single?" You said bringing a shocking look to Angela's face.

You laughed at her response "What? Just because my ex was killed doesn't mean I can't date"

Angela laughed "No it's not that it's just you don't spark me as the cop type"

You shrugged taking another sip of your drink "I'm trying new things... so is he?"

She nodded "Yes he is"

You thought for a second "So will you put in a good word for me? Or Atleast ask him if he's got an impression of me and then I'll go from there"

Angela looked at her as she pulled out her phone "of course let me text him."

Angela: I have a question

Tim: Yes?

Angela: Well multiple actually

Tim: Go on

Angela: Are you single?

Tim: Yes? But why do you care?

Tim: ADA Evers? Like Wesley's twin sister and ex girlfriend of the guy I shot?

Angela : Yes she won't stop talking about you

Tim: Yes I am single and yes I'm interested

Angela laughed and showed you the text. You smiled "Does he work tomorrow? Cause I have to go down and turn some papers into the new roving sergeant. Do you know who that is?"
