04. 𝙅𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙮

Avery answered the door of her dormitory as she sat Draco as he stood outside of it as she looked to him and sighed. She knew how tense that things were between them and she knew that was not in the mood for another argument

"What is it?" She asked as he looked to her and sighed

"I don't want to fight Avery please I love you and I want us to be okay and I want us to make it work please" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"I hate that we fight I do. I love you Draco it's always been us against the world but when it comes to my father it's something I really don't want to talk over" she said as he looked to her and nodded

"I get it I do but I am here okay and it is all going to be okay. Look I know sitting has happened to you and as someone who was also abused by his father I get it that you don't want to talk over that but also as someone who has been abused by their father I want you to know that you are not alone in this" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"Thank you Draco that means a lot to me it really does I just want for things to be okay" she said as he pulled her close and kissed her.

"I missed you" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"I missed you too. Why don't I get dressed and we can go to breakfast together" she said as he looked to her and smirked as he grabbed a hold of her hand

"I'd like that. Look no matter what things are going to be okay" he said as she smiled

Avery walked out of the great hall as she saw Lyla

"Hey are you okay?" Avery asked as she walked over to her

"I'm okay" Lyla said as Avery saw the bruises on her wrist and looked to her

"Your father did this to you?" Avery asked as Lyla sighed

"Of purse he did. Apparently my behaviour was out of order and I needed to be put in my place" Lyla said as Avery frowned. She hated seeing Lyla like this and she knew exactly how she was feeling

"The only thing out of order is the way this death eater when treat their daughters. It's not fair" Avery said as Lyla looked to her

"I can deal with this. Don't worry" Lyla said as Avery looked to her and nodded

"I know but we shouldn't have to deal with this" Avery said as lyla nodded

"At least you don't see your father as much"

"Yeah well it did Beth help as when he does see me he gets in my head and he gets drunk and then..." Avery said as she closed her eyes at the thought of what he did to her

"It's okay I get it. Look they can't get away with what they do to us. It's not fair and soon enough the truth will come out and it will be okay" Lyla said as Avery looked ru her and smiled.

Avery hoped that Lyla was right and she hoped that this wouldn't go on too long and she hoped that it would all work out. All that Avery knew that there was only so much longer that she could keep it hidden from Draco. He knew something bad had happened and how he wanted to find out the truth over it all
