Jimin pov.

Jungkook's lips were pressed against Lisa's, their kiss unfolding slowly and softly. Lisa, embodying her vampire essence, clasped the front of Jungkook's shirt, pulling him in even closer, intensifying their connection.

In that moment, they seemed like a pack of wolves, their kiss fierce and urgent, as if their very survival depended on each other, each drawing strength from the other.

The scene stirred a sense of discomfort within me.

Amidst the observers, cheers and whistles filled the air. A voice from the back cheered, "Way to go, Kook."

I couldn't bring myself to witness the end of their kiss, feeling queasy from the fruity drink I had earlier. As they finally parted, Jungkook wore a lazy, victorious smile as he made his way back to his seat. Within seconds, his gaze met mine, and he playfully winked.

My face flushed, and I quickly looked away, berating myself for it. I should have maintained eye contact. Now, I probably appeared like a virgin prude person. Like I couldn't handle a simple kiss without blushing. Or even worse, like his kiss with her bothered me.

When Lisa finally regained her composure, she inquired, "Jungkook, truth or dare?"

Jungkook paused for a moment before choosing, "Truth."

Lisa's expression hinted at disappointment, but then she perked up and asked, "Out of everyone here, who would you most like to kiss?" She wore a grin, that clearly expecting him to mention her after their intimate moment.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes. It was evident that she would get her wish, and they would likely engage in a passionate make-out session in the corner of the room.

Jungkook ran his hand through his hair, appearing contemplative, then replied,

"Shorty."

My eyes widened in surprise. What?

"Who?" Lisa questioned.

"Jimin," Jungkook repeated, shrugging nonchalantly. It was as if he had casually revealed to everyone that he desired to kiss his rival.

"I'd kiss Jimin."

Lisa shot me a look that could freeze time, her eyes ablaze with an intensity that sent shivers down my spine.

The whispers around us were probably painting a picture of me and Jungkook together, which was just too much drama. It felt like the end of the world, seriously.

Then, out of nowhere, Jin, Namjoon's boyfriend, chimed in, "Oh, so that's why you got Taemin to break up with him. Looks like there's some tension between you two. Just kiss and make up already?"

My heart was pounding so loud I could barely hear anything else. I gave Jin a puzzled look because what he said made absolutely no sense. Taemin and I broke up way back in freshman year.

My gaze shifted back to Jungkook again, and he broke out into one of his trademark, cocky grins. And I knew. He was merely trying to mess with my head. Of course this was all one big joke to him. For a moment, I actually believed him.

How foolish.

Tell jimin you want to kiss him and watch him panic.

I narrowed my eyes on him, furious with myself for thinking for even a moment he might actually be serious. Then someone to the right of me shouted,

“Prove it.”

I swallowed, flicking my gaze toward the voice. But it was no longer one voice. Everyone started chanting, “Prove it! Prove it! Prove it!” Like this was a game and we were in a football stadium.
