" mom I don't understand why you need a babysitter here. I can take care of sky." I ask.
" Hayes she's from care.com that's a very good website and what other choice do I have? you travel, your step father and I go to work, and Nash lives in l.a." she says cutting up the cabbage.
I groan and head up to my room. I wasn't going to leave until tomorrow but then I would come back the next day to surprise my parents. oh well I mean what's the worst that can happen am I right?

" so how much am I getting paid?" I ask my mom." $100 a week." she says." that's a lot. who am I babysitting?" I ask." well mostly the little 6 year old but they have a son that is 15 and the oldest is 17 I think but he lives in la." she nods.
" not that I'm complaining but why can't the boy take care of the little one?" I ask curiously." I don't know she says he travels a lot." she shrugs." jay what'd I tell you about being bare foot?" my dad says walking in." oh sorry," I laugh and run upstairs to my room.
" get out!" I yell to my siblings. I had an older sister she's 17 and then it's me, then my little sister and brother who are twins and they are both 7, and then the unborn little 5 week old baby in my mothers stomach.
we have a big family but we still have a nice house. we actually travel a lot and we still have money but that's what happens when your moms a lawyer and your dads a doctor. well sports doctor.
the twins get out of my room and I change for my first babysitting job. I was really nervous because it was my first time babysitting anyone other than my little cousins or family members.
I'm surprised my parents are even letting me leave the house to a strangers. maybe they can kill me. or maybe they'll watch how I handle things. I start getting ready and I pack some pajamas for when I sleepover. yea I know I'm sleeping over a strangers house. but I'm getting some cash so it's fine.
"you ready?" my sister asks. I nod as I zip up my backpack. we head into her car and I hook the aux cord to my phone. yung lean comes on and we start talking.
" I'm surprised you aren't shaking." my sister laughs." why?" I ask." you do know who's daughter your babysitting right?" she says turning on a street," no, do you?" I ask." it's Hayes' mom stupid." she says.
" you're lying." I say ( awww matty )." I'm not, the moms name is " she says." Elizabeth?" I ask." or nila?" I say again." wait nila doesn't have a kid with chad nevermind so Elizabeth"
" yup how come you don't know who's baby you're babysitting?" she laughs as we make the last turn," I don't know mommy never told me. oh my god Hayes is there!!!" I scream." oh god I'm dead I'm going to die in there." I say placing a hand on my forehead.
" and you said I would never meet him. pfft." I say." no I said you guys would never date." she points out and then stops." what are you doing?" I ask." this is the house." she points. I take a deep breath and get my backpack from the trunk." wish me luck and hope I don't die." I say into the car window." good luck I hope you die!" she laughs and drives off. I laugh and turn around to the house. jeez it's bigger in real life. well no duh. I walk up the steps and when I'm about to knock Elizabeth opens the door putting an earring on," hello you're jay?" she asks and shakes my hand with the free hand." yes I am. nice to meet you." I smile." well um I have to go I'm a bit late and my son will show you around. bye. bye skylynn be good! you too Hayes!" she tells and runs to the car.
" come inside!" I hear from inside. I know that voice. it's Hayes." um hi." I say and step in." wow you're pretty!" I hear and look down." I'm guessing you're skylynn." I say and bend down to her height." yes I am! call me sky it's easier. that's my brother." she says pointing to Hayes." he's a bit grumpy," she whispers into my ear. I laugh," let's play horses!" she says and drags me to the mini table and I drop my bag.
" so you're the girl from care.com huh?" I hear and look up to see the blue eyes that I've seen on my screen many times.
