Two weeks have passed since their nice little weekend in Midvale. Currently Lena and Kara are walking the floors of the hospital now. They've been here ever since Lena woke up having cramps. Now she's sporting two hospital gowns and a IV while she walks with Kara holding her hand. "How many more times do we have to do this?" Lena groans. "Until our stubborn daughter decides she's ready to come out." Kara replied. "She definitely takes after me in being stubborn...don't you dare agree." Lena growls. "I wasn't gonna say anything Lee. Come on let's just continue walking." Kara cooed.
Meanwhile inside their penthouse Eliza and Elizabeth sit patiently waiting for the word that Lena's gone into labor. "Anything yet?" Alex asked as she and Sam walked inside. "Nothing yet." Eliza replied. "Ugh! This is so aggravating!" Alex groaned. "Well if it's anything like when I had Lena it'll be awhile yet." Elizabeth said. "Oh Rao...poor Kara." Sam said softly. "She'll be alright. She's literally unbreakable." Alex replied.
Back in the hospital Kara and Lena are now back in the room. Lena's sitting on a ball while Kara rubs her stomach. "This feels nice but I don't know if it's working." Lena hummed. "Well if it doesn't we can try something else." Kara suggested. "Try talking to her...tell her mommy really wants her out soon so I can hold her in my arms." Lena said. "Ok, let's get you back in bed so I can rub your stomach easier." Kara said as she helped her off the ball, however when Lena got stood up she felt a gush of water hit the floor. "KARA! MY WATER BROKE!" Lena yelled out. "Ok bed! NOW!" Kara said as she quickly picked Lena up and put her in the hospital bed. "NURSE! MY WIFE'S WATER BROKE!" Kara bellowed.
Suddenly a team of medical professionals came in and began preparing Lena to give birth. Kara watched on as Lena got hooked up to a bunch of medical devices before the nurses left her be. "She's at three centimeters. Mrs. Danvers-Luthor hows the pain level?" A nurse asked. "It's ok...about a four." Lena said. "Do you want-?" "NO! I don't want any drugs!" Lena yelled cutting off the nurse. "Ok...we'll give you some time alone to call family and friends." The nurse said. Kara nodded as she remained by Lena's side. "Call them Kara...they'll wanna know." Lena whispered.
Kara quickly called Eliza to tell them that it was time. "They're coming." Kara said reassuringly. "Good. I'm also glad you're an alien...and I can squeeze your hand very tightly without breaking a bone." Lena said. "I'm glad too darling. Relax now love, everything's gonna be ok." Kara whispered.
