*a part two to the first chapter but there's two part twos and this ones different*Travis's POV
I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I got an incoming call from a number I wasn't expecting to see. Tree Paine. I furrow my eyebrows and answer the call, putting it on speakerphone since I'm all alone.
"Travis she wants to cancel the rest of the tour." Trees voice says the second I click accept.
"What?" I say confused. Taylor had been doing so good on tour without me. I did as I promised and watched every single show on a glitchy livestream. She looked happy even when she was preforming the most gut wrenching mashups ever. That girls really good at keeping a professional mask on stage.
"Taylor, she's trying to cancel the rest of the shows for the tour. Says it's too hard to do it now." Tree says quickly. I know we're supposed to be apart, you know working on this exact thing but I couldn't do it anymore, I couldn't stand back and watch my babygirl fall apart right in front of my eyes.
"I'm on my way." I say then instantly hang up the phone. Tree would've argued for me not to come but I know she really does want me there since she called me.
She texts me saying she's got a plane waiting for me at the KC airport only a few minutes after our call ended.
I pack a small backpack with everything I need before heading off to the airport. As I'm in the car I decide I should probably call Andy so he doesn't kill me for not showing up to practice. I'll need to lie though, leaving the country so I can see my ex girlfriend isn't really the best excuse.
"Hey coach, I just took a covid test and I'm waiting on the results. I just wanted to let you know that I won't be coming in the next few practices, if I do have covid I don't want to spread it to the other guys and if it's negative I'm just sick and still don't wanna spread it." I say turning into the airport private parking lot.
"Okay Travis. Get better so you can come back and lead us to another Super Bowl." He says and hangs up.
Calling a man is so much quicker than calling a woman. I could be on the phone with Tay for hours before even asking the question I called her in the first place to ask. But with like my brother our calls are maybe 3 minutes maximum.
I park my car and quickly jump out, walking over to the jet I know is Taylor's.
I greet the security that was waiting for me and get on the plane. I can tell the plane came straight from Poland since it still had her things in it, scattered everywhere.
Tree must have suspected my reaction to her call since she had to have sent the plane to get me way before she even called so it could get here on time.
I sit down and wait for take off, which doesn't take too long since everyone knew how much of a rush I was in to get to Warsaw, Poland.
I glance around and land eyes on Taylor's sketch book. It's where she draws and writes new ideas for music videos and or just draws. She used to show it all the time when we were together.
I reach over and pick it up, folding the soft leather cover back and flip through the pages I had already seen.
I find a new page that I had haven't seen before I read it. It was a script for a music video. The So High School music video.
I didn't know she wanted to make a music video for that song. I rub my hand over to small tear stains on the following pages before placing the notebook back where it was. I just close my eyes and try to sleep off the rest of the time.
Eventually we the plane lands and I get straight into a SUV upon arrival. I make small talk with the driver— who typically drove me and Taylor around in America.
