Page got bavk home and she smelled the good food . Her stomach growled with Nathan's. Therus pulled up her chair and they kissed hello. Page was listening to her husband's latest album called "Page. " She cut off the music sadly.
"Is that you?" Palace asked Therus.
"Yup."
"You know Page has a voice too."
"I know I've been wanting her to collab with me." Therus said and page blushed embarrassed.
"Why don't you dear?"
"Because people will want ne to come on stage and I'm not doing that ever again. " Page replied honestly.
"I haven't heard mom sing like ever." Stella lied. Therus looked at her suspiciously.
"What?"Page replied gulping.
"Sing us something dear." Palace said and page sighed.
"Mom...."
"I'll sing with you ." Therus said holding her hand and she sighed and nodded.
"Payton like the song you made wuth thia about rain?"
"Same!" Stella answered.
"Okay you do the top I do the bottom ." Tjey then sang together and Stella's mouth was opened in shock. They sounded very good. Palace was silent. She remembered Payton played that song for her birthday. Her tears fell but she excused herself .

"Because I hate attention. " Page replied. "Besides I rather leave the talent to your father. "

It was time for the wake and Page made sure everything went perfectly. Page was nervous but her husband made sure she pushed through the nerves. Suddenly Page saw her uncle . Her stomach turned when his men walked in with him.
"Page it's been years." He said reaching for a hug and Page stepped back and she felt a familiar warmth. It was her husband.
"It has." She answered handing him a brochure.
"We'll talk later ." He said heading inside. Page sighed .
"You alright?" Therus asked.
"Yes with you here ." Page said and he smiled hugging her and she sighed. "Thanks for holding my hand this whole way."
"As always baby. " Therus said making her blush. Everyone waved at therus being a fan. Page leaned by him.
"I keep forgetting you're a star."
"Me too." He admitted making her laugh. She was flirting wanting her husband but it wasn't appropriate now.
"Calm down ."
"Sorry ." Page told him.
"Don't be ."

The couple walked in and page felt the melancholy atmosphere.  She sat and the preacher talking was good but he didn't know this family. Page couldn't sit through the oblivious sermon but she kept calm for Payton. Stella and wonderful sat between Nathan and therus with theralice, and the js.
"Where's Carlette?" Therus asked. Carlette barged in apologizing for being loud. Jordyn sighed.
"That's definitely my daughter. " Jordyn sighed. Her daughter developed Nathan's basketball genes. She was 16 in a half 6 ft. Carlette whispered excuse me while sitting by therus .
"HI grandparents. "
"HI carly." The couple said loving her hyper energy.
"You're too happy this is a funeral. " jackson reminded his sister and she then put on a sad face.
"Is this convincing?"
"Yeah." Theralice whispered.
"Great because I don't wanna seem rude." Carlette sighed.
"Excuse me young lady I can't see!" The uncle said to Carlette.  She gasped apologizing feeling embarrassed.
"Still can't see." Nathan was about to say something but Carlette told him it was OK.
"I'll um....I'll Just sit in the back. " Carlette said hiding her sadness.  Nathan saw her eyes water .
"Hell no you got my daughter crying. " Nathan argued and they started arguing and page cleared her throat they stopped.
"Daddy its OK....I'm used to it. Nobody wants a tall girl blocking the view especially in the time of grieving so chill I'm going. " Carlette assured her father with such care. Nathan couldn't stand how nice Carlette was to people who were rude on purpose.  Carlette went to the back  .jackson turned to the uncle.
"You suck you know that?!"
"Jackie come on."
"No Jordyn dads literally 7ft but I don't see anyone complaining but when a tall girl sits in front of you it's an issue!!" Jackson was just like his father he wouldn't let anyone push the family around especially the women.
"It's over already. " the man said.  "Get over it."
"Can I sock him please?" Jackson asked pointing at him .
"No." Therus and Nathan said.
"You guys are something else ." Wonderful said enjoying the beef .
"Welcome to the Morris family cuz." Stella said with a chuckle.
"Everyone calm down. " Page scolded.  "Please!"
"Yes ma'am. "
"Let's go to the back with Carlette. " Wonderful suggested.
"Agreed. " everyone said.  Carlette saw her family sitting by her making her smile.
"We got your back sis." Jackson said.
"Thanks Jackie. " Carlette whispered smiling  . He was her bftf. Best friend in the family.
"No problem ."
