Nessa followed an extremely determined Jessica Davis all the way down the streets of their small town, rushing to keep up with her as they reached Monet's, where Justin was working a shift.

After the talk with Clay, where he had spilled the beans about Justin using, Nessa was expecting Jessica not to talk to her for at least a week, considering she knew about the Oxy, but didn't say a word. However, once Clay told her the entire story that he and Ani had gathered from Justin last night, Jessica realized that Nessa was basically clueless about anything drug-related when it came to Justin.

So, Jessica decided once and for all that she was not going to allow Justin to break up with her, all feelings and secrets be damned. She had practically yanked Nessa by her hair out of school when the final bell rang, which put a real damper in Nessa's plans to go over to Scott's house, but she didn't quite have an excuse to tell Jessica no, considering she had yet to tell her about Scott in the first place.

So, Nessa jogged behind her all the way to Monet's, standing a few paces away from her as she approached Justin, a scowl on her face as she waited for him to look up from the table that he was cleaning.

"Jess, what are you doing here?" Justin asked in a hushed tone as he stepped over to her. "And what did you do to Nessa, because she looks terrified."

"Don't mind me." Nessa said through a stifled laugh.

"I came to tell you that I reject your break-up request." Jessica said firmly.

"Uh." Justin stammered. "I cheated on you."

"Bullshit." Nessa cried from the table that she had taken a seat at, and she watched as Jessica whisked Justin away. She considered following, but she wanted to give them their moment.

She got comfortable at the table, and walked up to the counter and ordered an iced coffee for herself, which was ready almost instantly. She hoped that whenever Jessica came back, it would be with good news about Justin so that she could finally spill the beans about Scott. It was eating her alive, and the more time she sat on the big secret, the more she wanted to tell Jessica everything.

Nessa sipped her coffee and sat against the metal backing of the chair, sending Scott a quick text.

Sorry, I had to go somewhere with Jess. Be there as soon as I can.

Ever since the two of them had, well, turned over a new leaf in their relationship, if you could even call what they were doing a relationship, it had been a constant. Nessa felt freer, she felt powerful, and more importantly, she felt like herself again. She had been in such a funk for so long, she had felt like something was wrong with her, but as soon as she was back in Scott's arms each night, she knew that he had fixed whatever was holding her back, and she couldn't be happier.

Nessa looked up, smiling when she saw Jessica and Justin walking back over to her, hand in hand as they took a seat at the table. Justin flung his arm around Jessica, who giggled at his touch.

"Oh, thank God." Nessa said as she sipped her coffee. "I was not ready to split my time between the two of you again."

"No worries, Nessa." Jessica said as she smiled up at Justin. "He cannot get rid of me that easily."

"Justin, do you mind if I talk to Jess real quick?" Nessa asked and Justin nodded, but he didn't move. "Alone."

"Oh, yeah." Justin said as he got up. "Are you finally going to tell her about–"
