Chapter four

(Marcus)

I know this was a dickhead move but right after I did..that, I ignored Kairen. I needed time to think and talking to him distracted me. So I ignored him for a week straight.

I sat in class a few seats away from Kai, he sat in with his head down. I sighed raising my hand "may I use the bathroom?" She nodded and sent me out. I needed to smoke to get through the day.

"Ma'am may I go to the nurse" Kai asked his eyes swollen and dark red, i sucked in deeply. "Marcus can you take him you know I hate skipping." I sighed rolling my eyes.

"Yeah I'll take him" I got up letting Kai trail behind me. Once we got outside I grabbed kairen's arm "why the fuck did yo ass
do that now I have to walk you." I yelled grabbing him again.

"You don't have to walk me nigga! Leave me tf alone!! Just do what you have to do and leave me be!!" He pushed me away speed walking to the nurse.

When I finally got home I just laid in my bed staring at the ceiling. what was I doing? should I even be ignoring him? I grabbed my phone and hovered my thumb over the call button.

"I can't..." i whispered, I decided to just take a nap to take my mind off things. I got up taken my pants off and just laid back in bed.

I'll think about all this shit whenever I wake up, I grabbed my phone and turned it on do not disturb.

"I LIKE THEY WAY YO BODY IS THAT TOO OBVIOUS AND I LIKE YO CONFIDENCE-" "shut up!!" I yawned before sitting up slowly.
"Fuck why tf is she screaming TikTok's" I whispered getting up. I grabbbed some grey sweats and put 'em on.

I walked towards her room and banged on it before opening it. "Why the fuck you being loud" I rubbed my eyes and seen kairen sitting on her bed facing a wall while being on his phone.

"Hold on nigga get the fuck to the bathroom we needs talk." My sister jumped off her bed while holding a flip flop in her hand "Ight bruh" I walked to the bathroom while she stomped behind me.

"What the fuck happened this week" I rolled my eyes "fuck outta here wit that" she pushed me "nah cuz he run here today bawling his eyes out telling me you bruised his arm and yelled at him today!!"

"I- I ain't mean to bruise his arm and yeah I yelled at him he annoying as fuck" I shrugged my shoulders. "You pissing me off I see you don't have a fuck." She hit me with the flip flop  and walked out.

"And don't touch my shit no mo." I sighed. "Whatever bruh" I walked back into my room sighing and decided to watch YouTube for while.

I grabbed the Roku remote and turned on pop the ballon or find love. I was about 14 minutes in when i felt my stomach rumbling "damn im hungry asf"

I got up and walked downstairs. I looked up from my phone to see kairen in the kitchen making popcorn

I put the popcorn in the microwave and sat on the counter swinging my feet as I heard the popcorn pop! It was so fun to listen to and it helped me focus on other things.

When the popcorn was done I jumped off the counter and got it out the microwave I grabbed a clear glass bowl and pour the popcorn in as I moved my hips to the rhythm of a song I hummed.

I looked through the cabinets for m&ms mayas request. "What are you doing" I jumped at the sound of his voice. "I-Im making popcorn for maya" my voice strained at the end. "So why are you the cabinets?"

"I'm just looking for the m&ms"  he rolled his eyes and went behind me. "Here" he grabbed the counter beside me and used it as a levage to get the m&ms "here shorty" he grabbed a hand full of popcorn and went back upstairs.

What the fuck..
