~~~Axel's pov~~~
My dad stands in front of me, putting his hand on the book that has all the previous Alpha's signatures.
It's not a mandatory thing for an alpha induction ceremony, but for our pack it is, it's like a book of history and I feel very blessed to be apart of it.
I put my hand on the book and recite the words I've been practicing for many years.
"I, Axel James Carson, pledge to protect the Silver Creek Pack as their new alpha and do everything in my power to keep them safe and make decisions for the good of the pack" I said proudly.
I feel the proud energy coming off my dad.
He reaches for the pen and hands it to me to sign the book, then the official document that makes me the alpha.
I quickly sign the book and then I slowly sign the official alpha document, soaking up the moment.
Once I write the last letter dad signs his name on the bottom.
That part basically says he's giving his position to me.
"I, Lucas Alexander Carson, step down from my position as alpha for the Silver Creek Pack and here by give the title of alpha to my son Axel Lucas Carson" He wrote the final letter of his name.
As soon as he does that my head gets filled with thoughts and voices from all the pack members.
When you're the alpha you can basically talk to anyone in the pack through your mind.
Not only do I hear a bunch of voices but I feel an indescribable high taking over my body.
My dad steps away from the podium and sticks out his hand for me to shake.
He shakes my hand then pulls me into a hug.
"I'm so proud of you son" He said.
"Thanks dad, I won't let you or the pack down."
He pulls away the sends me a grin. "I have no doubt" He said.
~~~Alanna's pov~~~

Claire wipes her eyes with the tissue she put in her pocket as she watches her husband and son hug.

Lucas steps back and gestures to his son. "I'd like to introduce the new alpha of the Silver Creek Pack, my son Axel" He said making everyone go crazy.

The whole crowd starts howling and even though I'm not a werewolf I howl too, not being able to help it because I'm so happy for him.

I let out a pathetic howl and he turns in my direction and smirks.

He lifts his hand head to the sky and let's out a howl that is deeper and louder than the rest getting everyones attention.

"As your new alpha I'd like to invite everyone for a pack run" He said.

One by one they go behind a tree to take off their clothes and shift.

I try to look for Axel, but no luck with all the wolves running around.

As I'm looking I feel a poke in my back and I turn around to see Ajax making me smile.

To anyone who's new to werewolves you'd be intimidated, especially by an alpha since they're huge.

I'm 5'8 and his back is halfway to my chest.

I reach out to pet him making him instantly pur and rest his head against my belly.

I run my fingers through his soft fur. "You ready to go for a run?"
