He scowls at me and tightens the sweatshirt around his waist.

I grin and walk ahead of him so we can get him some clothes.

The path through the woods that leads to my house is off limits so that's why there's no spare clothes around.

There's clothes everywhere throughout the pack property, usually in trees that's been hollowed out or in plastic containers so it's ok from the weather.

Each pack is kinda like a village and they have their own set of rules, and like most towns, you can't walk around nude and since after a werewolf shifts from their wolf form, they're naked, so having clothes everywhere prevents that.

That's not to say people don't walk around naked if no one is around, Axel has told me he's skinny-dipped many times in the summer.

I wouldn't mind doing that.

He growls then ducks behind a tree, muttering curses under his breath.

He comes out dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, holding the hoodie.

"Can I have that back now?"

He rubs the back of his neck. "I have to go wash this, but once it's clean you can have it back" He said.

My eyes widen and I swallow the lump in my throat and try my best not to let the fantasies run wild in my mind.

I mean I'd be leaving snail trails if he turned me on so I get it.

"Ok, let's head to my house so I can go get my stuff."

"Ok" He stepped up to me and put his arm around my shoulder.

I put my arm around his waist and we walked back through the woods to my house.

"Oh yeah, let's not tell my parents about what happened. I don't want them to worry and I promise I'll be safer from now on."

He lets out a sigh. "I won't say anything, but from now on you walk with someone through the woods to your house and mine. My dad told me we had a few rogues on our land when I was gone, but nothing out of the ordinary. Those ones also got through the border like this one so now I'm wondering how they're coming in" He said.

"Maybe there's a hole or something in the fencing or one of the guards isn't paying attention at a certain time. What time did the other rogues come in at?"

"I don't remember, I'll have to check the files and see if there's any correlation between the incidents" He said.

"This one was an alpha, were the others?"

He shook his head. "No, they're weren't that large or dark so I'm wondering if they're a pack of rogues and we just met their alpha" He said.

I shrugged. "Maybe."

We get to my house and I see the light is still on in the living room so my parents are still up.

It's only 10pm so it's not too late.

I walk in through the door on the back deck.

"Hey, how was it?" Mom asked.

We walked into the living room and sat across from my parents.

"It went really good."

"That's good and congrats Alpha" Mom teased.

Axel smiled at her. "Thank you Crystal" He said.

Dad reaches his hand out and Axel shakes it. "So how's it feel to be the alpha?" He asked him.

"It feels amazing. It's gonna take some time to get used to hearing everyone's voices in my head, especially this one" He nodded his head to me.
