~~~Alanna's pov~~~

I'm just about to step away from Peter when the bell rings about the front door and I see Axel standing there with his jaw tightly clenched.

"Get your fucking hands off my girl" He said in my mind.

I see his eyes are a lot darker and I know that Ajax is more in control.

I step back from Peter and look over at Axel and smile. "You ready for lunch?"

His shoulders release it's tension and he walks over to me, wrapping his arms around me.

Might as well pee all over me to mark your territory.

"It's rather mark you with something else" He said.

My eyes go wide and I almost choke on my saliva. I quickly pull back to look at him and see he's sharing the same expression as me.

We stare at each other for what seems like hours when Peter clears his throat.

I step back from Axel, but he doesn't remove his hand from my back.

"Who's this?" Peter asked.

"This is my fr-"

"She's mine" Axel interrupted me in a menacing tone.

Poor Peter looks like he's about to wet his pants.

Peter has been a customer for the past few months and talks to me when he sees I'm here.

"Nn-nice to meet you, I'm gonna get going. Have a nice day" He quickly grabbed his books and practically ran out of the store.

I turn to look at Axel who's glaring at the door when Peter ran out of.

I raise my eyebrow. "Really?"

He turns to look at me and shrugs. "Kid has to learn his boundaries" He said unbothered.

I roll my eyes. "Come on caveman, you're buying me lunch after that display" I tug him out of the store.

We walk down the street to a cute little cafe that has the best food.

They have indoor and outdoor seating and we have always chosen the outdoor seating because it overlooks the lake.

We sit down and our waitress comes over to us, she's a girl we went to highschool with, a few grades older.

"Hey guys, how are we doing today?" She asked.

"We're doing pretty good, how are you?"

"I'm doing well thanks for asking, and a congratulations are in order, Alpha" She said.

"Thank you" He said.

"No problem, can I start you guys off with drinks?" She asked.

Before I can say any Axel orders. "I'll take a water and the lady with having a raspberry lemonade" He said.

Before everyone gets all upset that I let him order for me, I don't mind that he orders for me because I get the same thing every time, actually we both do since we're creatures of habit.

"Ok, I'll be right back with your drinks" She walked back into the cafe.

He looks at me. "So we figured something out about the rogue yesterday" He said.

"Oh yeah? What did you find?"

He rubs the back of his neck. "I went down there with the guys and dad, and I quickly noticed there wasn't any other scents besides ours and when that happens, witches are involved" He said.
