~~~Alanna's pov~~~

I take the book from the customer and put it in the bag.

I hand it to her. "I hope you enjoy, it's a great one" I smiled.

She smiled back. "Thanks, I'm excited!" She said and walked out of the store.

I stock the shelves just as a very pregnant Carly clocks are in for her shift.

She puts her hand on her belly and blows out a breath. "I can't wait until she's out of me" She said.

I snort. "You're only 5 months along, you have awhile to go."

She groans. "Don't remind me. How did you do this 4 times? This is only number 2 and I'm dying" She said.

Yeah that's right, 4 kids Axel and I have.

We took a year to just have time for ourselves then we decided to have kids.

Our oldest son Blaise is 10, our daughter Ava is 8, our son Landon is 6, and our daughter Winnie is 4.

You could definitely say for the past few years we've been busy.

And also if you're wondering given the age gaps between each kid, yes we planned that so each kid would have someone to play with.

We both decided 4 was enough so Axel got snipped after I had Winnie.

Currently our kids are at my dad and Alicia's place since my siblings are home from college this summer and  they wanna spend time with their nieces and nephews.

When I first met my siblings they were so happy to meet me.

Even though we had a decent age gap when we first met, they quickly became my best friends and they also fell in love with Axel.

Mom and also became good friends with Alicia since she's an absolute sweet heart, I couldn't be happier for my dad.

"It wasn't easy, but I had Axel so we made it work."

"I have that with Max too, but other times he acts just like a kid with Maddox" She huffed.

I snort. "Oh trust me, Axel acts like a kid as well. I think that's all men though."

"Yeah they never get rid of their childishness" She said.

I laughed. "Nope."

"You still coming over to Erica's for bachelor night?" She asked.

"Wouldn't miss it. The guys are taking the kids to the movies so we get to have our time."

"Do you really think they're be able to handle 10 kids, most of whom are under 5?" She asked.

I shrug. "Who knows, but it'll be nice to have a break."

She nodded. "So true" She said.

After Erica started gave birth to her baby, then the rest of us followed.

It really helps that all my friends have kids around my kids ages.

All the kids are close so it's really great they're all best friends.

Carly handles the register since that's all she's allowed to do.

Rules given by Max, they had a pregnancy scare with their son Maddox and ever since then Max has been making sure Carly doesn't overdo anything.

I personally don't blame him, but I also get her frustration because Axel was very overprotective when I was pregnant.

For all of my pregnancies he wouldn't let me walk so he's pick me up and bring me down the stairs himself.
