After yesterday's events, most part of it was a success. Everyone was invested in the sooner events of the Founder's Festival, chatters and murmurs about their exitement scattered the roads of Tempest. Surprisingly, the purposes of this festival were already taking place. Most of the attendees are engaging with the other monsters in peace.
Though there are a few who still avoid them... it's great progress.

After the Tourist Introduction yesterday, Guy asked if I could fit a schedule for us to have a small meeting today. I was quite perplexed at the sudden invite, but I nodded to his request.

Usually, these out-of-the-blue requests would be filled with important talks, but knowing Guy and his playful attitude like the rest of the other ancient demon lords... it's certainly not so important.

Milim was joyed about today's expected tournaments, asking me if she could join in the battles. I immediately declined and protested, already playing in my mind how that would turn out. Today's events also include the Ball, where everyone will dance with one another or find a personal dance partner for the night. Today is also the day I'm dancing with Guy...

And so here he is in front of me, crossing his legs like a boss with that usual smirk of his that seemed almost mocking-like. While I sat in my chair like an idiot, awkwarly forcing a smile within this awkward air of silence.

And now here he is, a small meeting before the Tournament. The silence felt awkward as usual, I hadn't met him or had spoken to him in two days, to be precise. I noticed he had a servant behind him, short blue hair in a maid dress. She seemed well-mannered as she didn't utter a word and remained a stoic expression the entire moment, not moving an inch. I found her appearance familiar, recalling where I had seen her... then, I realized she was at the Walpurgis meeting, serving as one of Guy’s servants in command.

"So, Guy... what do you need?" I asked, tilting my head as I questioned. "Well, there are indeed a few things I wish to discuss. This will only be short. It isn't so important after all.~ " He said smugly, adjusting his sitting position as he looked directly at me, slightly moving closer to my face.

I nodded, keeping my smile as Guy smiled back. "A little favor, dear Rimuru~, you wouldn't mind if I asked for a certain subordinate of mine stay here and learn from you?" He asked, sipping on the tea that was served to him a while earlier as he took a glance at... what was her name? Rin? Ren? Rain? Oh, right, Rain was her name.

Rain perked up when she heard her name called, looking back at her master as if she was about to say something, either to comment or protest. "M-my Lord? You want me to stay here?" Rain exclaimed, her full attention on Guy, though her claims are not of sadness that she would be transferring to a different for a while, but she was delighted as so. Her eyes sparkled as her smile widened, waiting for her Lord's reply.

"Yes, Rain, you're staying here because I'm tired of your demands." Guy answered bluntly, sighing as he looked back at Rain's expression with a seemingly irritated tone.

Rain's smile grew wider as she heard her Master's words, internally jumping in excitement as she hummed in enthusiasm. Going back to her original stoic position but with a more lively vibe, nodding at me in her now thrilled mood.

I was quite stunned by this parent-like relationship they seemed to possess. It's somewhat wholesome and heartwarming to see such a side in someone like demon lord Guy.

"So, you're asking me permission to keep your little subordinate here in Tempest? I don't mind." I asked, a small smirk formed my lips, my gaze upon Guy. "Oh, yes, but of course, I wouldn't just waste your time over the incoherent things I request, I am a considerate man, after all."

"Is that so? What else would you like to speak about?"
"Oh, nothing, just if you need more few alliances, I heard you formed one with Lubellius. Though I truly mean Luminous, yes?"
