I was seven again, wondering darken hallways.
I felt as though I were in a maze, the exit miles away.
Dead end after dead end I continued on, the more I walked, the more lost and scared I became.
Hope slowly faded.
A sudden bone chilling scream broke through the air, it seemed to come from all directions.
Adrenaline filled me to the core.
Scared tof death, I ran, I sprinted and sprinted down the vast ominous halls, running straight into a dead end. Literally. I was knocked backwards after running into it.
I couldn't get back up. I was to exhausted to move.
I took deep breaths, feeling my heart race.
out of nowhere, a light shown on the wall i ran into. Red crimson letters splattered; I propped my self up with my elbows so I could read properly.

Chapter thirteen: nightmare maze

I slowly stood and inspected the words. The seemed as someone finger painted them with ketchup, or at least I hoped it was ketchup...
. I continued on my quest for an exit. I had finally calming my heart down a bit, but then, another echoed. It sounded closer. I ran again. This time the dead end was eliminated by bright glowing words. EXIT.
Slouched by a door, a figure, a man, Sat up against the wall, his head hung low. He wasn't moving, nor was he breathing. He was covered in the same red as the words. This was definitely not ketchup...
I grabbed the doorknob as another scream sounded., it was Close enough to cause you to lose your hearing.
I attempted to open the door, it wouldn't budge.
Locked.
more red words splatters on the door. I almost collapsed at,what,I read.
