Accident Of Fate (Taekook)

Mysterious Phone Call

After talking to Namjoon, Ji-eun takes the phone away from her ear and looks at Jong-suk, saying, "Suk-ah, I called them, and they said they're on their way to the hospital. How long will it take us to reach there?" 

Jong-suk replies to Ji-eun, "Just a little while longer, Eun. We're almost there" 

Ji-eun looks back towards Taehyung and thinks to herself, 'Oh God, please keep him safe, please save him.'  With this thought, she gazes at him with sad eyes, and shortly after, they arrive at the hospital.

Jong-suk quickly carries Taehyung and rushes towards the hospital, with Ji-eun following closely behind. 

As the couple enters the hospital with the injured man, they are greeted by the receptionist, who quickly notices the urgency of the situation. She immediately calls for a nurse to bring a stretcher while asking the couple what happened. 

Jong-suk responds, "There's been an accident; it's an emergency, please call a doctor immediately" The receptionist nods and instructs another nurse to fetch a doctor. The nurse hurries off to find a doctor. Meanwhile, the first nurse arrives swiftly with the stretcher, and together with the couple, they carefully transfer the man onto it.

The nurse who is on her way to call the doctor encounters Leo on the way. 

Seonji(nurse) informs  Leo, "Mr.Jeong, someone has had an accident. Can you quickly call Doctor Jungkook?" 

Leo asks, "What, someone had an accident?" 

She replies, "Yes, please hurry" Saying this, she quickly leaves. Leo rushes to Jungkook's cabin and knocks on the door.

On the other side, Jungkook, who usually strives to be on time, occasionally found himself delayed in returning home. This was because he never knew when an emergency might arise with a patient, requiring him to stay back. 

Today was one of those days when he had to stay back, and it was already very late. He was just packing his things to leave for home when there was a knock on his door. He grants permission for the person outside, who is knocking persistently, to come in.

With Jungkook's permission, Leo quickly enters and informs him, "Jungkook, there's a patient for you. He's had an accident. Let's go quickly" 

Jungkook exclaims, "Oh my god, come, let's go!" Saying this, he swiftly exits his cabin, followed by Leo. As they come in further,, they see some people near the receptionist, who are bringing a stretcher forward. They rush towards them.

As Jungkook arrives with Leo, he is shocked to see the two people by the stretcher. He exclaims, "Noona!" in surprise, and the mentioned woman looks at him; it's Ji-eun. 

She looks at him and says, "Kookie!" 

Then Jungkook asks, "Noona, why are you all here? What happened?" 

She replies, "We'll talk later. First, you check on him, please" 

Jungkook looks towards the patient and says, "Oh no, hurry up and take him to the ER quickly" Saying this, nurses and others move the stretcher forward. 

On the other side, he reassures his Noona, "Noona, don't worry at all. I'll take care of him. I won't let anything happen to him" 

Ji-eun pleads, "Please, Kookie, save him" He nods and rushes towards the ER, and Leo also accompanies him quickly.

They sit on the waiting chairs outside the room, patiently waiting for someone from Taehyung's family to arrive. After some time passes, they spot a man rushing towards them.

Namjoon quickly arrives at the hospital and rushes inside after parking his car. He asks the receptionist if there was an accident recently and if the person involved was admitted here. 

She confirms and directs him to the location. After thanking her, he hurries towards the indicated area. Outside a room, he sees a couple sitting and conversing, seemingly distressed. 

As he approaches, they look towards him as if he's the one they've been waiting for. Without hesitating, he asks, "Are you the ones who called me about the accident?"

The couple responds, "Yes, it was us. We found this in his pocket." Saying this, they hand over the wallet and phone to Namjoon. Upon seeing them, Namjoon feels even more miserable because they do belong to his brother. 

He sits down, clutching the items, and stares at them. He closes his eyes as a stray tear rolls out. He wonders how everything was pretty normal just a while ago, and now he can't bear what has happened. He keeps contemplating and waiting for the moment when the doctor will come and tell him about his brother's condition.

On the other hand, the nurse who was sent to fetch a doctor and unexpectedly encountered Leo later, thinks to herself, 'Why do I feel like I've seen this person somewhere before, the one who has had an accident?'.

But no matter how hard she tries to remember, she can't recall. After some time, while passing by the receptionist, she notices Namjoon rushing inside. 

He asks the receptionist if there has been an accident, and upon hearing that there has been one and where to go, he rushes off. As he leaves, she starts pondering why a famous actor is here. 

Then it strikes her: maybe her suspicion was correct. She had been thinking for so long about who she had seen, and now she remembers that it was none other than the CEO of Kim Industries, Kim Taehyung. 

After registering everything, she quickly takes out her phone and makes a call. On the other end, someone picks up, and she hears a man's deep voice.

The man on the other end asks her coldly, "Tell me, why did you call?" 

She tells him, "Sir, Kim Taehyung has been admitted here" 

Surprised, he asks, "Admitted there? Why? What happened to him?" 

She informs him that he had an accident and was admitted at that moment. The man says something to her, and after listening to it, she smirks. 

She then says, "It will be taken care of, sir" and ends the call.

Guys, you know what I don't have any knowledge about hospital and medical-related things, and here I am writing a novel on it (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)
