Scarlett POV
It's been a year, a whole school year. We flirted with each other and we finally meet, by a pool no one ever uses. I was walking on the street. Summer had come.

"Hey," Lee says winking at me. He stood really close but I couldn't hold my self too close. I was so attracted.

"Hi." I could feel myself blushing.

"Wanna go out sometime?" He blurts.

"I'd love too."

"Can I pick you up tomorrow?"

"Yea."

"Um..." he says, "why did you not talk to me when we were in school?"

"I uh- I was afraid."

"I think we waited to long, tomorrow I want to take you someplace special." he smiles

"You're cute." Did I just say that? I did but he smiled at me.

"You're beautiful...and sexy." he smiles and winks then looks at the ground.

"So, got anybody at home?"

"I lost my family over the school year. I saved one but missed after the first shot."

"What do you mean?"

"I was shot," I sighed trying not to cry. "I saved my mom but then another bullet strike at her."

"Who did this to you and your family and why not you?" He was into me and my life. "I would've beaten the shit out of him."

"The guy you asked 'did you ask her out' in April, the one I said I would never go out with. he said I was too nice to be killed but he was nice enough to lose what I loved most."

"I'm gonna kick is fat ass. I'm sorry you lost them because of him."

"Don't, please, besides he's in a different state and I'm here now."

We kept walking. "I'm sorry I got u into your business. I was gonna ask you out, but then I found out he did."

"But I never said yes...until today." I smirked.

"Man, you had my heart races as bad as fuck." Lee says hearing about the tragic story.

"Sorry."

"You could make up for that." he smirks

"By doing what?" I ask.

"Let me walk you to your house, since you're all alone."

"Of course."

I let him walk me home, it was quite awkward and weird. No one lived with me and I was under my own safety.
He stopped at my porch step, "I uh-guess I'll see you tomorrow." he bit his bottom lip. "if you need anything I uh- I live right across from you."

I smiled, "I might need you but I might not." I lowered the smile and smirked.

He chuckled. "see you."

I walked into my house realizing he had my number, and I had his. should I text him? I mean that would be stupid. I waited to see if he texted me. but instead, he was skating outside with a friend. I watched outside my bedroom window. A smile hit my face like no other time.

He was cute as fuck.

Where is he going to take me tomorrow?

///

The time had come, Lee was picking me up to take me somewhere. It was noon.

Lee POV
I was more nervous then yesterday walking up to her door step and knocking on the door.
"Hey." she opened the door.
