"Wait- You knew my father? Before he turned into an evil overlord?"

"I knew him from when he was still in his diapers" she laughed.

Lloyd had been worried his friends would be mad at him for keeping the information of Nya having an element from him. While they were a bit upset about Lloyd not trusting them with the information, they were also more than happy to finally have a new lead.

It had been so long since Cole and Jay had joined they were worried it would take months or even years to find another Elemental.

Jay had been especially happy at the news. And also very very anxious.

Lloyd guessed he couldn't blame him. He himself had never had a crush before. He had always thought it might just be for obvious reasons, but thinking about it intently he never even really felt attracted to anyone. Seeing Jay a mess in the proximity or just at the mere mention of Nya was amusing to him but also terribly confusing.

It was Saturday now. They had tried reaching Nya the day before, this time texting her through their own phone number, safe from Lloyd and also Jay.

She hadn't answered. They weren't sure if she just hadn't seen it or if she was ignoring them. They hoped for the first option but not having had an answer for nearly a day spoke volumes in of itself.

A teenager in this day and age would have definetly seen the messages.

The group gave up on the option. They had decided to just try to reach her on Monday. Being a team of four was useful, they could come up with a plan to lure her away from her friends to talk to her one on one. Or, well, four on one.

They weren't quite sure who would talk to her.

But all of that was a worry for later. They wanted to plan more throughoutly on Sunday, before or after the cinema.

Right now Lloyd had other worries. He had a packet to deliver.

Wu was back which meant Mystaké left for her own home. Lloyd still wasn't quiet sure what it was his uncle was doing..

He and his uncle had thrown together a thank you basket of sorts for her help and for taking care of Lloyd (again and again..) the past days.

Lloyd wanted to deliver it on his own. His friends had asked if he wanted them to come with him, but he declined. It had been a long time since he had walked to Mystakés on his own. He used to do it pretty regularly to get the tea leafs his uncle needed.

And he didn't need 24/7 supervision. He could do a mundane task like carrying a basket to a location all on his own, thank you very much!

So he did.

Besides, he knew his way around these parts. He knew which paths would be less dangerous and had less people. It was easy to go to the shop with little interaction.

It was quite peaceful, too. There was a little park not many people knew about close to the tea shop. The greenery of said park had spread beyond its borders and consumed some of the buildings nearby. It was quite peaceful.

Lloyd remembers sometimes being at that park with Wu when he was younger.

Yearning a trip through memory lane, Lloyd decided to take the detour.

Just as always, the park was basically abandoned. He could hear a few people far away, maybe some children playing, but no one was in his sight. The park was quite overgrown afterall.
